Or even in private if you ask me. They are HIDEOUS! I like the attempt to bring back the yellow, but could they have made it any busier? I almost wish that they would switch from Nike, as Swoosh Inc seem more concerned with 'new' designs as opposed to just making good-looking kits...

I actually like the away kits and they look sick in action. But they just wouldn't go with anything I wear, so I would look stupid wearing it out.

Calcutta posted this in the Transfer thread, but ESPN reports that the Silvestre signing is official. Can't wait to read the Arseblog tomorrow...

I think Arsenal's away kits this year are awful! The white kits fro last year, I thought, were class. Plus, why do they want to use any sort of yellow? I associate that with Spurs, it'd be like Tottenham unveiling a red kit. yuck.

The Gunners have used yellow for years, though I admit I loved the white jersey last year (I bought one myself) and am sad to see it go.

I know, but so has Tottenham. It seems like years that Spurs doesn't have a yellow kit (like this year), Arsenal has one and vice versa. It's just weird because I associate yellow more often with Spurs.

I'm pretty sure it's the third kit this season, so you'll see it every once in awhile.

The way I see it, Arsenal started using yellow before Tottenham.

Yellow is associated with Leeds though, for sure.

Arsenal has forever had great kit's...

I find the new one's atrocious though...

I don't know why teams keep changing...I hate the new Chelsea one too. I bought a JT jersey over a year ago and already feel the need to get an updated one again.

EDIT: Not to hijack the thread, but Chelsea has new yellow kits this year, since we're on the subject of yellow...

                      take a look.

New pictures its more gold than yellow apparently. These look worse thatn the other pictures. [IMG] [IMG]

I just don't get it. I suppose he'll provide solid cover for the first team defense (if he can manage to stay healthy) but we really another midfielder. It's a good signing, so long as it is not the "one more signing" Wenger was talking about. It better not be.

Agreed on point #1. I really like the Chelsea one as yellow & blue are money in my opinion. I assume it will usually be paired with yellow shorts? I think Adidas generally does a better job of not mangling kits -- more of the tried & true approach. Although, I'm not a fan of the white collar on their blues...

Oh and thanks for posting that Acid. Cool to see them all mapped out like that and it saved me the trouble of digging up pics of the yellow & blues to share as my favorite 2nd.

Acid, have you ever lived in England? You seem incredibly fond of Arsenal like you are one of their own.

I haven't, but if I could I'd live there. Does that count?

Soccer's my favorite sport and Arsenal's my favorite club, so that's why I'm like this with Arsenal.
