Saw this on SI.com. I would be in favor of this move to replace Chamakh.
Good signing. Hope they keep RVP though.

I wish I could be as confident as you, but I have to agree with Tim. This has draw written all over it. Sure, the Gunners looked great against Spurs, but that's after looking so terrible against Sunderland. If the same Gunners that showed up for two thirds of the Spurs match show up against Liverpool, Arsenal have a great chance, but I expect two goals and two defensive lapses for a 2-2 draw.

Anybody that has watched the Arsenal this year knows you can't too excited after that win. Liverpool could very easily do to us what we did to Spurs.

If we show up with the same mentality that we had against Spurs last week, Chelsea and the second United game, then I think we can win.

However, that won't happen. This team seems to be rather incapable to carry such a mentality from game to game.

Didn't see this posted, but it's a great look at Arsenal's financial state:

So North London remains red after Arsenal put Spurs to the sword with a scintillating comeback in a memorable derby. This was a performance ...

Good match I guess. Wish Liverpool had someone that could score. 2 chances, 2 goals.

Chelsea loses, so Arsenal is in great position to win the Arsenal Cup*.

Great 3 points that could have easily slipped away, WS13 picked a great time to be huge in the net. RVP made it look to easy with the brace.

We were extremely lucky not to lose that match let alone win.

I'll take all the good luck we can get. Because we don't get lucky very often nowadays.

While luck was involved in not giving up a few goals, luckily our goals were pure class.

Also, the penalty call for Liverpool was ****. SZCZ won the ball and Suarez leaped in the air.

To be fair to Suarez, any striker would have went down there.

I know this is a little off topic but people need to realize that if we indeed get rid of Wenger that we are losing by far our biggest draw for players. A lot of people don't understand that.

Any striker would go down there, but it just wasn't a penalty at all. Just great play by SZCZ.

As for Wenger, I still do not want to see him go. He's a bit stubborn and a bit foolish at times, but he's our fool damnit. The owner and the board are what need to addressed.

Also, we're now three points clear in 4th. No excuse for us to not finish there, or pass Spurs.

The odds are insanely against us advancing past Milan on Tuesday, but I really hope we at least grab a win. 3-0 or 2-0. Even after elimination, it'll only help the mentality. Can that happen? Different story.
