I feel we will be underdogs going into Anfield next week with are last two performances. Hopefully the players will be in top gear, I am glad we got that Stoke away from home out of the way because they can always become a problem later on through the season. I hope I can see more from Poldoski because I haven't been too impressed, I never was a fan of him and let's just hope he proves me wrong.

Some positives were that we looked organized in defence and we handled Stoke's set pieces very well. Diaby looked good out there, albeit a little rusty but i feel this could be his season. Also noticed Arteta playing as an holding midfield which I figured he would do and he looks very disciplined out on the pitch. Hopefully Arsenal find our shooting boots against Liverpool and some of our key guys return next week.Comment

While we definitely did not have our finishing boots on, it's still key to remember that we started three new players up front who have hardly played together at all.
There are great glimpses of what is to come, and I think we'll start to put away chances soon. We're still right on track for where we should finish, which is Champions League qualification. The season is so young, and so is our newly formed attacking partnerships.
Also, could you imagine how worse we'd look without signing Cazorla? He's been pretty on these last two games.Comment

I was very impressed by Diaby today. One thing our midfield currently does very well is that they all are almost impossible to dispossess while on the ball. Diaby does however gotta figure out what to do when he gets around the box. You could just tell was panicked every time he would make a run forward with the ball.
Speaking of guys that are always injured. Kieran Gibbs has been outstanding these first two games as well. I think if he can stay healthy this season he is going to break out and may even challenge Cashley and Baines for the England LB spot. He was my MOTM today."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Like you guys mentioned, once that chemistry improves and Giroud gets more familiar the goals should start coming.Comment

Some of the papers are suggesting you could be in for Cabaye at Newcastle.Comment

Highly unlikley we would go for Demeble I like the guy but we arlready have Cazorla who plays a similar role.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
It would take a ridiculous offer since like you said, Newcastle don't need to sell him. This was why Fletcher and Jarvis went for astronomical figures. Wolves didn't want to sell them, but Sunderland and West Ham were stupid enough to pay it. Wenger doesn't usually pay over the top for anybody.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
We may bring one player in this week but that will probably be it. Too many teams of similar stature to us have money and are buying as well. So I doubt we will be able to get the bargains we need for the club to spend any money. As said as that last sentence is its unfortunately true when it comes to this club."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. The obvious choice is midfielder, but I think an argument could be made for another winger as well. Gervinho and Walcott are essentially the same player at this point.
Hopefully it's an interesting week.Comment
