We lose Theo and we will officially need three players.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
maybe its time to go away from the 4-3-3. i agree that i think theo is a finished product. to me he isn't starting 11 material and is most dangerous coming in late in the game to add pace when everyone is tired. id rather see someone more technical who can feed giroud and poldolski goals. or even someone fearless who can take on multiple defenders like henry used to.Comment

If we lose Theo and gain Navas that will be a major upgrade. Problem with that I don't have any faith whatsoever that Gazadis and company could get a deal done in time."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. I think the problem here for Liverpool is not bid price but wages...how many young, streaky midfielders/wingers can the team afford to have on the books?
At some point, you'll need more in defense I think.Arsenal FC

Rennes have insisted there has been no great interest in Yann MVila and they are under no pressure to sell the midfielder.
Can't believe we are not in on this guy. We desprately need this type of steel and quality to protect Carzola for those away games in the EPL. Our stubborness is killing me."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
The club have said Walcott will not be sold, despite him not signing a new contract. Take that for what you will.
Arsenal have said Theo Walcott is not going anywhere despite the player failing to agree a long-term contract
It's interesting, as on one hand, it's the obvious thing to say. However, on the other, we've been very open about moving players recently and Walcott has not come out himself and said he wants to leave, such as RVP essentially did.
Is it possible we keep him, just for the sheer fact it sends a message of sorts that we're not willing to sell every damn player, even if it makes us money? It's possible, but it just doesn't seem likely.Last edited by Krebstar; 08-29-2012, 08:55 PM.Comment
