If that transfer didn't happen, we'd be at least a few places down in the table.

I actually loved Yossi yesterday. He was hustling to get back and closed down on a wide open Zabaleta. His passing was on point and he was making great forward runs. The only thing that bugged me was he had a clear shot on goal but he hesitated and tried to go past Kompany (wishful thinking).

With Rosicky finally playing up to his potential and Arteta finding his form, I can see us selling Ramsey once Jack gets back and buying M'Vila in the summer. What was he doing at the end? Wide open Ox and RVP streaking into the middle, and he shoots it way off target. Poor decision making.

Ramsey has been a major letdown this year but I would hate to let go him right now but if thats what it takes to get M'Villa then I'm all for it.

From everything I've read, Wenger has the goal of selling off the the roughage and upgrading with more top talent. Now obviously Podolski is a start in the right direction.

Who do you guys think are headed out? My predictions have XX beside them.

I think Djourou stays on. He's good cover at CB.

Also, I don't see Wenger selling Ramsey. Let's not forget the kid missed an entire year out with a broken leg. An entire year of development and confidence building during a vital time for him.

It's too early to give up on him.

Djourou is your fourth CB at best next year and that is only if we don't sign anyone else.

My point exactly. We won't be signing anyone else. If we sell him, we're down to three real CBs. I just don't see it happening. Injuries will happen, and we'll have fixture congestion. We'll need him.

Yeah, I can't see us signing a CB, and with our injury history in defense (TVM last year, the fullbacks this year) we can't afford to be losing defensive depth. Djourou has his faults, but he's not bad as a backup used in case of injury and fixture congestion.

Speaking of injury issues, Gibbs is having groin trouble and Sagna is doubtful at this point. Both of those combined with Koscielny being out for two games and our ideal back four is gone, just like that.

Hopefully Sagna can at least start.

Three - Nil and it could have been five, the Gunners went into a desperate dogs den and got it done, big big result today. Gotta also give a call to Wigan, I was watching both games side by side and they absolutely deserved their win over United.

Just something random that really, really upsets me. Either Liverpool, Chelsea or Spurs are going to win the FA Cup.

The fact that we can not stay in a competition like that, with the ability to win it, is maddening. This team right now is good enough to win that competition, easily.

However, we always peak at the wrong times and it's often when we have a good chance for a trophy. Carling Cup last year, for example.

                                Just a random thought.
