    De Gea replaces VDS
Phil Jones I reckon will fill the role of John O'Shea as the utility man
Ashley Young likely will come in for Valencia

And the likes of Nasri and Schneider could easily displace the likes of Carrick & Fletcher.

      27 million for Benzema?!

Arsene Wenger will launch a £27million move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in an attempt to offset the likely loss of Arsenal stars Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Yeah right. Only thing that makes it likely at all is that he's French. Plus he's been linked with us since the end of the season, but wasn't he also before he joined Madrid?

Most likely rubbish, but I'll take anything at this point.

Reports from The Telegraph I believe are saying Roma GK Doni's agent has sad he is on his way to Liverpool. Now I know this is still just in rumor stage, but if it is true or unfolds, do we swoop in for Reina who is dying for CL action again?

We won't pay the fee it would take, and Liverpool are looking for depth at the position, not to eliminate him. He's been solid.

Yeah, it would be a long shot. Even if we got money from Nasri and Cesc, at this point I'd rather see the money go to one or two new CB's, and replacements for Cesc and Nasri. I'm willing to go with SZCZ as our #1 as long as we upgrade everywhere else.

Completely agree about Szcezny, just wanted to see what everyones thoughts were on the possibility as I knew we were rumored before the seasons end to go after Reina.

I would love a World Class keeper to come in, and thought it was vital last off-season, but that was before problems such as our defensive lapses moved getting a keeper further back in the list of Arsenal needs. I would not object to one coming in, but not at the expense of a CB.

Precisely. Without proper cover, any keeper we put back there is going to be put in awful situations.

Also, it's now being said no offer has officially been made for Nasri.

                    Silly season.

Reports suggest the Frenchman has been offered a lucrative new deal worth £110,000-a-week to stay in North London, but Sky Sports News understands he has told the club he wants to leave.

If he turns down 110,000 from the Gunners, then they have to sell, as that shows that he either clearly wants out or wants to be paid way more than he is worth, and Arsenal will not pay him that. If he accepts, great, our offseason just got better. If he rejects, then I know I am beating a dead horse here, but we need to sell and move on, using the money to bring in a replacement. I know how frustrating this all seems, but all it will take is for a few new signings to come in and make everything okay again. Here's hoping.

City have made an offer for Nasri. Yeah he's gone.

It must be kind of frustrating to be Fabregas.

Imagine if u were Cesc, seeing your pals at Barca win Champions League twice in three years, La Liga and various Cups, all the while not winning anything at Arsenal.

Fabregas must have been thinking to himself...

So I'm playing a team tonight called FC Barcelona. I'm debating whether I wear my yellow Wilshere jersey (our team wears yellow) or my white Fabregas jersey.

Either way, I'm getting sent off tonight probably.
