From everything I've read, yes, but the holdup appears to be Real Madrid's reluctance to let him go with a future fee. Arsenal would like the chance to buy him if the loan goes well, but Mourinho wants him back.

Problem is, Mourinho has already publicly said that Sahin needs to play elsewhere this season, so he may not have much of a choice but to give in.

Yeah but Tottenham are in the mix as well because they won't sell Modric to Madrid for a reduced price unless they get Sahin as well.

Reports of Liverpool having serious interest in Walcott have surfaced.

Also, Squillaci could be headed to Olympiacos for 1 million.

That would feel like the best million pounds you would ever receive.

Walcott to Liverpool? Great. He's English and it's Liverpool. So, we'll get about £60 million, right?

I must say, watching these away kits in action...they're really not as awful as they first appeared to be.

Rennes claim a concrete offer for M'Vila has come from England. Is it you guys? Spurs?

If it's us, then it means Song could be on his way out.

                        I don't think it's us.

As for the game going on now, our defensive shape is looking so much better. Obviously we're not playing the best quality, but when we lose the ball, it's still telling to see how our defenders are placed. There have been a few moments today that would've tore us apart last season. Simple flicks or through balls that cause our defenders to look disjointed. So far today, when it has happened, we have men in place and all that can happen is a poor shot from distance.

Keep working 'em like dogs, Bould.

We have looked really good in the first half. Leading 3-0 and without several really nice saves it could be 6-0 or 7-0. Plus no Sagna or Koscielny or Arteta.

Cazorla is going to be an incredible addition to this team. Also, Gervinho better get used to the bench, as the left side now belongs to Podolski.

And RVP is on the field.

It's Spurs, Wenger thinks he is a head case and doesn't want to take a chance with his attitude. I personally like the guys talents, he works hard on the field where it matters and he is still young. It has been said that Rennes has agreed for a fee for £9.5m which would be a steal for him. I honestly think Wenger should go for him as he still has time to develop into a powerhouse especially under Wenger's coaching. It would also soften the blow if song decides on leaving next year.

I like Gervinho's pace off the bench a lot.

Really pleased with the teams performance today. Looking forward to trashing Sunderland at the Emirates on Saturday.
