Giroud hasn't scored yet, but I think he's been played well. He's made some tremendous passes and has played a key role in the build up to some of our goals this year. Yes, he needs to start scoring, but I think that will come.

      Hmm, very good point.

If Diaby is healthy, I think he'll be starting.

I think Arteta is too good to sit on the bench imo. I never envisioned him playing as a defensive midfielder ever but he has done excellent in that role, especially at Anfield.

Wojciech Szczesny will be out for 2-3 weeks, that is a shame, he has had a tough start to the season. Also looks like Mannone is getting his chance it is interesting how things works out, I hope the lad the well.

While Mannone has looked good when he's been in, I'd still much rather see Woj out there.

            Damnit.

Just throwing it out there that Mike Dean is the referee today, and we haven't won a game he's been in charge of for quite awhile.

In other words, I really dislike him.

The stats may say differently, but it seems he gives more soft penalties than anyone else.

Good game. A point was well derserved by both sides. Gervinho is doing a number down the left side.

I will always take a draw at City against that side. Well done, boys.

Same here but I still felt we could have won Gervinho looked awesome too bad he couldn't find the back of the net. His shooting fails him again but I won't deny the work he puts in but he needs to work on his composure in front of the goal.

Also Per was good as well I heard he had 7 interceptions in the game.

Also what do you think of Jenkinson? I honestly think we have something here with this kid.

                          Gervinho continues to anger me.

As for Per, it seemed each time I yelled "damnit" as City were moving forward, Per was there to intercept a pass. He's adjusted well to the league.

Per was reading passes fantastically. He broke up so many counter-attacks, and Citeh would have likely scored more had Per not been there.

As for Gervinho, I thought he played phenomenally in that he created so many chances for other players. His problem was that he consistently muffed chances his teammates created for him. He had an incredible opportunity to end the match, and his shot (which should have at least been on-target) was so far wide of the mark you'd think he didn't know where the net was. Still, I like what he brings in terms of creating chances, and once other start finishing better, I think he'll get quite a few assists.

I definitely don't think he belongs in the middle with his lack of finishing. Perhaps when Wilshere returns and Santi moves to the wing, that will push Podolski up front and leave Gervinho out wide?

I don't think Giroud will be starting in the near future, but he's still shown great stuff. His strength is outstanding, as several times today he won a ball in the air and held up play.

I keep waiting for Jenkinson to cost us a game this season and each game he proves me wrong and then some. I really like the kids defending and crossing, if he could just become more confident on the ball he will be the future RB of this team once Sagna moves on.
