Giroud hasn't scored yet, but I think he's been played well. He's made some tremendous passes and has played a key role in the build up to some of our goals this year. Yes, he needs to start scoring, but I think that will come.

I don't think Arteta loses his spot. I don't think Wenger makes him vice captain if he didn't plan to play him when available. I think Cazorla makes a move to the wing once Jack gets fully ready to be a mainstay in the starting XI which I don't think happens to the beginning of the year, at the earliest.
If Diaby is healthy, I think he'll be starting.Comment

I think Arteta is too good to sit on the bench imo. I never envisioned him playing as a defensive midfielder ever but he has done excellent in that role, especially at Anfield.Comment

Wojciech Szczesny will be out for 2-3 weeks, that is a shame, he has had a tough start to the season. Also looks like Mannone is getting his chance it is interesting how things works out, I hope the lad the well.Comment

Good game. A point was well derserved by both sides. Gervinho is doing a number down the left side."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Same here but I still felt we could have won Gervinho looked awesome too bad he couldn't find the back of the net. His shooting fails him again but I won't deny the work he puts in but he needs to work on his composure in front of the goal.
Also Per was good as well I heard he had 7 interceptions in the game.
Also what do you think of Jenkinson? I honestly think we have something here with this kid.Last edited by RoyceDa59; 09-23-2012, 04:19 PM.Comment

As for Per, it seemed each time I yelled "damnit" as City were moving forward, Per was there to intercept a pass. He's adjusted well to the league.Comment

Per was reading passes fantastically. He broke up so many counter-attacks, and Citeh would have likely scored more had Per not been there.
As for Gervinho, I thought he played phenomenally in that he created so many chances for other players. His problem was that he consistently muffed chances his teammates created for him. He had an incredible opportunity to end the match, and his shot (which should have at least been on-target) was so far wide of the mark you'd think he didn't know where the net was. Still, I like what he brings in terms of creating chances, and once other start finishing better, I think he'll get quite a few assists.Comment

I don't think Giroud will be starting in the near future, but he's still shown great stuff. His strength is outstanding, as several times today he won a ball in the air and held up play.Comment

I keep waiting for Jenkinson to cost us a game this season and each game he proves me wrong and then some. I really like the kids defending and crossing, if he could just become more confident on the ball he will be the future RB of this team once Sagna moves on."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."
