In terms of their ability and quality, I'd still take Sagna at this point. By quite a bit. Jenkinson has shown he's has the potential to be quite a fullback for us, but we have a true number one.

It's just nice to have real cover at that position.

Anyone remember Eboue? Yeah, me neither.

I do. I think we only got like 4 million euros when he got sold to Galatassaray a couple of summers ago. A really hot and cold player. Rumored to be the next "Lauren" and of course we saw how that worked out. I still remember that awful dive he took against Barca in the CL final in 2006 which lead to Campbell's goal after we went down to 10 men.

I loved Eboue, he had his faults but the man loved the club.

I don't think Sagna will be sold, and I also think it's important that he isn't. The top clubs in the world all have quality cover in case of injuries/fatigue and are able to rotate players in and out of the squad. Unless Sagna or Jenkinson makes a big stink and says "it's me or him, I want to start every match" we need to keep them both. It would be saying a lot about our ambition (in a negative way) if Arsenal declared "Jenkinson and Sagna are both good enough to start, so why keep both when we can make a nice profit by selling one?"

What's the latest word on Wilshire? Still on course for Carling Cup later this month?

Wilshere is training and currently on-line to play in the league cup later this month. He'll be playing in the reserves and might make a few substitute appearances off the bench for the first team before that, provided the game is well in-hand.

Walcott is expected to miss two weeks due to a bruised lung, so he'll miss the matches against Norwich and Schalke at minimum.

                      It's a trophy:

Arsenal have been named the 'club of the year' for providing the best customer service to fans under a new awards scheme being run by the Premier League and tourism board VisitEngland.

Question: Does anyone have experience in procuring Arsenal tickets and attending a match?

I would like to get 2 tickets to the Gunners/Man U match on April 27th, and I am trying to figure out my best options.

If I go through ArsenalAmerica and put in a request, apparently I will only know 2-3 weeks before the match whether I have tickets, and that isn't very acceptable to me considering I'd be spending thousands on a trip to London.

They also have a ticket exchange if you are a member through Arsenal.com. I believe its about 50-60 bucks a year to join. Other than that, AA is your best shot.
