Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Lewandowski isn't going to leave Dortmund for Arsenal, unless Arsenal are willing to splash some cash on both the transfer fee and his wages. Huntelaar has a good thing going with Schalke, so there are probably better options for Arsenal.Comment

The idea that we'll suddenly buy in January due to signing the new deal just doesn't sound right to me.
Perhaps buy a bit more this Summer, yes. Splash big on a striker in January? Arsene Wenger? No.
I'd rather see us solve the Walcott situation first.Comment

I'd let Walcott go in order to get a target man.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
If he wants to stay and will play wide, I'd rather keep him.
Other than him, we only have Podolski, Gervinho and The Ox who can play out wide. I'm not including Santos, Rosicky, and Arshavin. First one is rather rubbish and will constantly be covering Gibbs, Rosicky is broken down, and Arshavin is Arshavin.
If Walcott goes, we're just short out wide instead of short up front if we signed someone.
I think we can all agree we just need to keep key players and sign others as well. In the last few years, we've made some good signings, but they're always replacements, and never depth.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
i dont disagree with you guys, however i think there is a good possibility we get someone who can play upfront and on the wing this window. otherwise why not make henry transfer official? and why not get walcott resigned and let him have a few games up front.
wish this walcott thing would be over and done with. id rather us re think our depth for our back four and cdm.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
It's amazing to me that some people are actually upset at our new sponsorship deal. We're bringing in so much more money, and if that allows us to start competing in the transfer market, than that is way more important than stadium naming rights.Comment
