        Random thoughts...

Koscielny did something stupid by putting his arms around Dzeko, but that was only 50% of it. The other 50% of it was Dzeko throwing his arms up and falling to the ground. Still, Koscielny can't put himself in that position.

The rule of a red card + penalty needs to be changed. Its often discussed how its actually a double penalty, and really should be one or the other.

Wilshere is getting the hell beat out of him in every game he plays, and its going to catch up to him. He's left in a heap more than any other player out there, and while its great to see his aggressive attitude, he can only take so much punishment.

Diaby looked pretty good, but had to stay back due to the red card early on.

Walcott should never be taking free kicks, and should not be starting up top. Perhaps we should have sold him in the Summer and replaced him with someone who gives a damn more than 40% of the time.

For what we had to work with, we played really well in the second half. City are always tough defensively, so when you give them a two goal lead and a man advantage, it'll be tough to score on them.

Huge game Wednesday, as its our only hope of winning a trophy.

I would like to see a Giroud sighting on Wednesday. Kos will be sitting due to the red so either Squillaci or Miguel will be on the bench, under normal logic. Please no injuries.

Didn't see this mentioned, but Arteta will be out for three weeks.

Ugh. Losing Arteta is bad. At least Diaby is back temporarily(I say temporarily since we all know it's a matter of time before he gets injured again).

Some of us rely on match day revenue instead of a sugar daddy.

So, we're apparently set to make an offer for Wilfried Zaha this week. Also, Arsene said with Arteta out the rest of the month, that we'd be looking for reinforcements.

Especially considering the stretch we have next.

                  5 games in 17 days.

                  Go do something, Arsene.

I'm at the point now where I feel like there will be very little movement this transfer window. I believe the board has already told wenger that this will be his last season at arsenal and that they want to save the money they have now to help lure one of the top managers that will be available during the summer. It seems to me that the only player playing with any passion at the moment is wilshere. Everytime I see wenger now he has this defeated look on his face and it seems like he is just counting the days until the end of the season. Only time will tell but I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. If he loses to swansea on wednesday he may even get the axe sooner. One can only hope.

Wenger will leave on his own terms. That I am confident of.

There is no way in hell this board gets rid of him.

Arsene will be done managing Arsenal when he wants to be done managing Arsenal, whether you think that is good or bad.

Arsene said that with Koscielny banned for the match tomorrow, Arshavin will take his place in the squad.

Also, Arteta's calf strain is not as bad as originally thought, so he could return earlier than expected.

                            One, but Giroud scores two.

There is absolutely no way Wenger gets fired in-season. And as long as he keeps us making money and in the top 4 year-in-year-out he will stay, as Krebstar said, until he wants to retire.
