Really like what I've seen so far from Monreal in an Arsenal shirt. He really likes to get forward. Is it safe to say he's #1 LB even if Gibbs is fit?

IDK about that, but I thought Monreal played nice offensively for us. Should be good competition for that position between them two once Gibbs gets healthy.

Why does Fox soccer channel even bring Piers in? they have enough people over there railing on Arsenal already.

LOL, I take it your not a fan. What about The Ox? He doesn't seem to get much of a look in lately.

I do not think there are any Arsenal fans left that like Gervihno. He has shown flashes of brilliance for us in the past, but far too often he just... sucks

I mean they are right but they literally say the same crap after EVERY Arsenal loss. Wynalda is the only one I can halfway tolerate on that channel. I can't stand Warren Barton. It's obvious why he is a analyst in the states and not England.

he is furious but he is right on what I quoted. However, I had to laugh when he mentions going after Mourinho, Klopp, or Jupp Heynckes replacing Wenger. I had to laugh more when he said spend 50 mil and go get Suarez.. and go buy Fellaini.

Sorry Piers.. if Suarez leaves Liverpool.. he will not be going to another club in England AND for sure not Arsenal without Champions League footie.

well my buddy who loves arsenal txted me asking if I heard what Piers said this morning about a private eastern group is trying to gather steam/the money to buy the majority interest in Arsenal


If that is true I see the supporters pressuring Kroenke to sell up then . I don't ever see Kroenke spending big to make Arsenal contenders again or back in the top 3.

I believe Kroenke is waiting for FFP to kick in the BPL.. unfortunately much like FSG liverpools owners kind of.. which would put the traditional clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool back on top over City and Chelsea.

Kroenke has publicly ruled out selling the club, but he might think differently when he's faced with a potential $400 million profit. Also, the potential buyers would be ready to work with Usmanov.

As for Klopp, it seems he's apparently again told Chelsea he's not interested.

If Arsene were to leave, and I doubt he would as he's an incredibly prideful man, I'd gladly welcome Klopp. He's aggressive nature is just what this squad needs.

Also, just days ago Arsene once again publicly said we would not prepare for Spurs and Bale any differently than we do for anyone else. We only worry about what we do, not who we're playing. This attitude has been obvious for years now, and it's sad to see we basically don't make adjustments to how we play except for in the actual game.

It's disgusting really. Arsene could do that when we were superior than most of these clubs in the Invicible era. He can't do that now and it shows, the guys stubbornness, which used to be his greatest strength is now his biggest weakness.
