Just saw this on the BBC ticker:

    1. 14:55:
David Ornstein, BBC SportKallstrom update"Kim Kallstrom has picked up a back injury and is being assessed by the club's medical staff amid reports that he could be set for a lengthy spell out.
"The 31-year-old Sweden midfielder joined Arsenal on transfer deadline day in a loan deal until the end of the season from Spartak Moscow.
"Kallstrom - the Gunners' only January signing was recruited as cover for the injured Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere, and suspended Mathieu Flamini."

When did he pick up the back injury?! Was he already training with the squad this morning?

Looks like it's something they found in the medical, and it was injured while playing in a beach game during Spartak's preseason tour in Abu Dhabi. But they still took him on loan even though he was going to be out for a month? Something seems off here. Wasn't he supposed to provide cover during Flamini's suspension?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he would not have signed injured Sweden midfielder Kim Kallstrom had he had more time.

Very off. If Flamini didn't have the suspension, I don't think we would've brought him in. Those four games seemed to have pushed the decision.

There were a lot of eyebrows raised by pundits when Wenger first said he viewed Ox as a central midfield player, and so far Wenger has been proven right. Fantastic performance by The Ox, and hopefully he can stay fit the rest of the way.

Seems like he's going to be quite the player.

Really, really, really hoping for a draw tonight between City and Chelsea.

Also, SZCZ now has 11 clean sheets in the league.

Top of the league 2/3rd into the league. Not bad, but still a lot of work to do. I believe we can get there.

it makes sense though, I don't think any central defenders can mark him when he starts those runs

We've now reached the brutal part of our schedule: Liverpool (A), Man Utd (H), Liverpool (H), Bayern (H). It's like the green and blue properties in Monopoly all have hotels, and Arsenal is sitting on Free Parking ready to roll, praying they get through unscathed.

Fortunately, we enter this stretch on an unbeaten run and with the league's best defense, so I'm way more optimistic than I probably should be. Whatever happens, this is sure going to be an exciting run of fixtures.

As long as we win those two league games, I'm happy.

We certainly are not ready to win the CL, and if we do fall out of the FA Cup, but keep a great league position, I consider that just fine.

A double this season would be wonderful but like you said, we are not ready to win the CL just yet but who knows!
