Vermalean and Sagna are both good as gone. Sagna wants 120,000 quid a week over 3-4 years. We won't even try to even get close to that, even though it's more cost effective to just pay him by the time you pay 15-20 million quid plus wages for a proven replacement. Just throwing away money to make a point. Add Djourou to them too when he gets back from loan at Hamburg. Wouldn't be susprised if Diaby is straight up released. So we will have plenty of needs at the back in the Summer. Plus need some pace and maybe kick the tires on Morata again. Sanogo has susprised me with his play, but we need guys up front who just plain get goals

We're now two points above 4th, yet 4th (Man City) has two games in hand.

Time to pull our heads of our collective ***.

Consider me surprised—Charlie Adam will face an FA hearing after his stamp on Giroud.

Please, ban the piece of ****.

I know it's easy to second guess after the fact. . .
But, I was watching the game on Premiere League Extra Time online and at halftime I was hoping/praying for AW to insert the Ox for the entire second 45. Why, oh why did it take so long??? Hands down our most threatening player Saturday.

We needed Flamini in there to punch Adam in the face! Giroud and Jack had a very physical game - I think Flamini would have had a card (or two), but Stoke players would've known he was in the game.

And how can Sanogo miss that??

Charlie Adam has been charged with violent conduct by The FA.

Just a shame we weren't facing a ten man side. Especially considering this was his second red card offense.

Of course, this really just helps teams who have yet to play them, but at this point I don't care. If it makes Stoke worse and closer to relegation, great.

It was Agger on the tackle too.

Thank goodness we still have more depth than in the past, with Ramsey returning soon, and Rosicky in form.

Saturday is huge, as it's still the best shot at a trophy we have.

Also, for the 935th time, **** international friendlies.

Well, that was a nice rebound game against a tough Everton team. Let's hope this serves as a morale boost to the squad, and that this form carries through to the semi-final, as the FA Cup is our big chance at a trophy.

Several years ago the prospect of Fabianski in net would have given me nightmares. What a difference a few years makes.

                            Especially in Europe!

Here's to nobody getting injured tonight, and at least not coming out with our confidence dented.

Heck, maybe we'll win and lose on away goals again.

A pretty serious one it seems. He has a scan today, but Arsene's initial comment was he'd be out "for weeks". Ugh.

I don't think we need him to win the cup, but it'll be hard making a push for the league with him.

                                - - - - -

Ugh, it's not verified by the club, but it's being reported he could miss six weeks, and that he played with the injury for 35 minutes.
