    Silly English player nonsense.

Debuchy is a good replacement for Sagna at RB, especially since he has EPL experience. It also saddens me because it also shows me that Wenger must feel that Jenkinson isn't ready to be full time at RB yet; but he is still young so he has time.

I don't think he's ready yet at all. He has promise, but he'd still be exposed if he were out there each week.

He's only 22, and he loves the club, so I'm sure he's still very happy with his position.

It seems now that Sanchez and Debuchy are both pretty much done, which is a great start. It's hard to believe, but I'm sure we're still preparing several other deals. Go spend that money, Arsene.

With a few more moves, we're a legitimate title contender.

Does everyone else still agree that means signing another striker?

Without a doubt. Short term Sanchez goes to the right hand side until Theo is healthy which won't be until Oct. 1st. But we need a pure out and out striker after the DM, GK and CB situations are settled. But the good news is two of the big signings are done by the end of the first week of transfer business.

With Mandukic off to Athletico Madrid and Morata to Juventus, Remy is our best option at this point. Bony is waaaaaay to expensive. I'd also love to buy Demba Ba, but Chelsea isn't that stupid to sell him to us.

I just hope we don't skip on a DM. And no Diaby is not like a new signing...

We need another Striker even if it is someone we get from a loan. We can't let Giroud get burnt out again this season.

I'm all for going after Karim Benzema, like I've been saying since the FA Cup ended. Giroud is too inconsistent.

I think that might actually he'd be too much for us in this window in terms of money. Especially if we go after a DM, CB, and GK.

If TV5 gets sold (which will more than likely happen), who would you guys like to see get the armband?? Personally I strongly believe Arteta deserves it for the next couple of seasons for his professionalism and great attitude. Rambo gets the deputy role and is groomed and takes it over in 2015 or 2016.

At this point my guess is they find some project player for next to nothing. That is if they can't get a quality player for dirt cheap. Poldoski and Walcott can help spell Giroud as long as they stay healthy while Sanogo learns to become Giroud.

I used to think Podolski could perform that role but Wenger never plays him there; only out on the left.

I'm sure Arteta will get it since he's currently vice captain. Which most likely means Per will become vice captain, but he'll wear the armband often, as I doubt Arteta will be starting in August.

                              From Sky:

We're hearing that Chile forward Alexis Sanchez has now passed his medical at Arsenal and the 25-year-old's switch from Barcelona to the Emirates should be confirmed very soon. Alexis is understood to have agreed a four-year deal and the fee will be around £32million, money that Barca will use to buy Luis Suarez from Liverpool.

Now the question is what's next? It seems we want to add a DM, which is great. Also, the Remy rumors have not died down.
