He's going to have a chip on his shoulder this year too although, to be fair, he has never suffered from a bad work-rate. Like Bravo said, the only knock on him, his finishing, can be improved.

I'm still annoyed we didn't sign a CB, but I think Welbeck is quality.Comment

I'm okay with the Danny Welbeck signing, but lets not forget we are so thin in defence it is not even funny. What defenders are available as FA because I do not see how you don't address this, baffling!Comment

Sczsesny
Debuchy - BFG - Kos - Gibbs
Arteta - Rambo
Walcott - Ozil - Sanchez
Welbeck
As aforementioned, this team looks like a title contending team as the only weakness is Arteta in our starting XI. If Chambers proves to be great as a DM we could do very well. Ozil will have players running in behind the defence now so he should be able to shine too. With this line-up we can orchestrate quick attacks seeing we got pace. Here's the downside:
Ospina
Bellerin - Chambers - Hayden? - Monreal
Flam/Diaby/Coq - Wilshere
Campbell/Gnabry - Santi/Rosicky - Ox
Giroud/Sanogo
These are our backups. I acted as if no-one was injured and I could only use a player once. Also assuming Wenger plays in a 4231 again. Offensively we're pretty stacked. Defensively, we're a disaster waiting to happen. Our backups at DM are very unreliable as Diaby is basically made of glass and Flam picks up cards as if he's collecting them. Coquelin is not good enough and I'd rather not see him in an Arsenal shirt again. At RB Bellerin has no experience and he's young, however he seems to have potential. As for Chambers, great kid. Now, we basically have no other CB's left so I decided to put Hayden there, young, inexperienced and definitely not ready. At LB we have Monreal who's mediocre at best. Say a disaster happens and all four of our starting defenders are injured/suspended/whatever. What are we going to do then, play Bellerin and Hayden?Comment

Even speaking in hypothetical situations you really shouldn't be putting Diaby in there.

But think, when Wenger says his usual spiel about an injured player returning is like having a new signing, for once it's true!Comment

Just remember guys, we're much better striker wise than we were last season, when our back up was this guy.
