However, the fact that we actually signed a replacement made his departure much easier to deal with.

Tommorrow is a perfect day to throw Theo out there. Burnley will press high up the pitch and pack the center of the park. See Spurs last week, they could get any service to Kane because of how tight they kept the center of the pitch.

Love to see Theo with Debuchy behind for defensive cover. Theo can really go to town with that backline playing so high up the pitch

It's crazy how now we have stupid depth at RB now. No chance Jenko gets to come back. None. And we still have 3 guys who are legitimate starters at that position.

Its a good kind of problem to have.

Anyways, game day. I expect Burnley to put up a fight but ultimately we should see this through. Might be the classic go head 2-0, Brunley gets one back, and then watch with worry the rest of the match.

I like that we are going defensive now to preserve leads.

Agreed. We might have conceded trying to get a 2nd in the past.

I really, really, really want Jenko to come back...but I don't see it happening.

Maybe he goes on loan for another year? Maybe Bellerin moves to more of a right wing position?

I'm now just thinking of scenarios that allow Jenko to come back to the club he loves.

he probably will come back. In this club if someone sneezes they are usually out for a few weeks.

Our injury recovery time seems to have actually improved this year. Ozil came back earlier than expected, and also seems to have bulked up a bit.

Wilshere seems to have also added some strength during his recover.

It is freaking ridiculous that the FA Cup Semis are happening at the same time as Chelsea-United. Yes the EPL is much bigger and much more important, but that is a total slap in the face of that competition.

Also, count me as one who disagrees with FA Cup semis at Wembley. There are so many good grounds in England that could host the Semis, there isn't a reason to have to go to Wembley until the final

I guess Gabriel is first choice now..,

In previous years we throw that game away. We won won, that's all all that matters. Now:

SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON IN THE MERRY MONTH OF MAY!
AND WHEN! I ASKED! OH WHY SHE WORE THE RIBBION!
SHE SAID ITS FOR THE ARSENAL AND WE'RE GOING TO WEMBLEY!

Top three finish and another FA Cup would be a great, great year to me.

                              We're going (back) to Wembley!

I know this is a different Villa side than the one we beat 5-0, but I'm still really glad we avoided Pool.
