Sloppy second half, a bit complacent likely.

    Thought Ox was very sloppy.

Having Özil, Cazorla, and Xhaka all out there at once is LETHAL.

Now, if only they had someone to pass to, lol...

Definitely a signing Arsenal needed but also means Coquelin probably won't see much first team action this year.

        Agreed.

Early leads and then having 34 and 29 in as CDM? Yes please.

Yea. Having both those guys in there would be like expecting to play with 10 men in the second half. They go full throttle and I love those kind of edgy guys.

Feels good to have some time to watch again.

Solid win. Ozil makes this team soooo much better. Can't wait to see Alexis back on the left.

Also, Arsene pretty much confirmed the new signings in the post-match interview. Nice to go into the interlull with three points and two new players.

Looks like Chambers is set to go on loan to Middlesbrough. He needs real playing time if he's going to develop into a future CB for us, so that's good.

I actually would've loved to see him go outside of England and get some experience, but if gets actual playing time, this will be great for him.

Jack may leave on loan.... I'm surprised, but I feel nothing. You can honestly argue he is 3rd Choice in the number 8 role behind Santi and Rambo, 3rd choice in the number 6 role behind Xhaka and Coquelin, maybe even fighting to dislodge Elneny from that spot and isnt the 1st choice on the right with Rambo, Ox, Theo all competing for that spot. He's for sure 3rd choice in the number 10 role behind Ozil and Santi. Really frustrating that he can't stay healthy or didn't morph into the holding player since we already have so many damn attacking midfielders. The curse of having a glut of technically gifted players in the midfield who are very versatile.

It's really a shame that we still don't know what Jack, Chambers and the Ox best positions are. Our English core has truly been a vast disappointment across the board and I'm not sure if this is all Arsene's fault. Welbeck has been hurt a lot and Rob Holding just got here, but ask yourself are any of these guys 1st name of the sheet starters for us... Carl Jenkinson (he'll be back in October), Theo, Gibbs, Chambers (just went off on loan), The Ox, Jack. 8 English guys in the senior side and none are 1st choice right now.

I guess it's time for a mini-clear out right now. Joel and Chambers are now gone on loan. I'm sure Gnabry and Sanogo (how in the world is he still with us ?) will go. Curious situation with Debuchy if you ask me. I thought he'd be long gone, but they can't seem to find any takers. You also have Jenko back in the fold soon and Mustaphi can play RB as well so I have no idea when he plays.

I think Gnarby stays since Campbell went on loan.

As for Debuchy, nobody wants to pay those Premier League wages.

Not so fast my friend. Reports are he's signing for Bayern before heading out on loan. Wow. Didn't see that coming

To his credit--this is precisely what AW was referring to by not wanting to pay outrageous fees for players 'just to sign a player'. They eventually are some form of dead weight, now--nobody wants to take on the contract.

It's a fair point for sure. I'm still glad we signed a CB and ST though lol

Yeah, I saw that this morning. Perhaps as I saw mentioned there will be some type of buy back clause.

Ornstein said we want Gnarby to stay, but a big offer from Bayern could change that.

I hope he stays—I'd like to see him get a shot in the side over Ox right now, to be honest.

With the signings we've made I feel like we have actual depth around most of the squad—it would be nice to see us keep that.

Lots of smoke around Wilshere to Crystal Palace. On the one hand, that move is good for Jack, as it means regular playing time and a chance to prove himself that he likely won't get at Arsenal. On the other hand, given Arsenal's penchant for getting decimated by injuries, Wilshere provides valuable midfield depth. So I hope Wilshere stays, even though it appears he will leave.

I'd prefer he went to Bournemouth due to their style, but I only heard a bit about that yesterday.

Edit: Just saw that Ornstein said he'll be going to Bournemouth. I just got really interested in watching all Bournemouth games.

                                Tomorrow's headline:

Wilshere re-called from loan after breaking wrist during contract signing.
