Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
My son who's 4, had his first U6 game this morning so I missed the game. Was anxiously awaiting NBCSN to add full match replay. Still nothing.
Furious.
Went ahead and saw score and highlights.
Obviously can't provide any feedback, but how did new signings look? Can't believe Xhaka didn't see the field. Good grief.
That Koscielny goal though...

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Lucas just didn't have service at all, and I think Alexis out there with him would've changed that.
Ox is just...I'm done with him. I'm assuming if Iwobi wasn't coming back from injury he would've started. Theo was alright, and he's playing with far more passion and venom than he usually does which is nice.
As for Xhaka, he'll surely start on Tuesday, and Cazorla/Coq has worked well before. We have depth, so I'm glad we're using it.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I think Wenger held him and Alexis out of the starting 11 because he wanted to rest them for Tuesday's match vs. PSG. As Krebstar said, we finally have great midfield depth, and it's nice to see Wenger properly use it. A Cazorla/Coq pairing should be enough to see of Southampton, and in the end it was.
As for Walcott, I thought he played well. He made some nice runs and actually tracked back to help on defense. Hopefully he keeps playing with this kind of effort and intensity.
Ox looked poor again, though, and with a healthy squad I really don't see him getting much playing time aside from cup games with better options like Iwobi available.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Haven't seen full lineup, just Twitter reporting Giroud on bench and Alexis up top.
Does seem a bit surprising. Can't imagine the logic...

Read it and weep...
Arsenal XI vs. PSG: Ospina; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Cazorla, Coquelin; Iwobi, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Alexis. #afc
Arsenal subs: Cech, Holding, Gibbs, Xhaka, Elneny, Lucas, Giroud. #afcArsenal | New York YankeesComment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
If Cech is healthy enough to be on the bench, he's healthy enough to start. Didn't we learn out lesson from this once?
Perhaps Iwobi with Alexis up front will make it work a bit better, but I doubt it. Also, Cazorla and Coq in midfield mean once again Ozil has to drop deeper to get the ball, which doens't work.
