Rodgers I wouldn't put into the same boat as the usual "retreads".

He's only 45, I'd even have him as one of the "up-an-comers". He's a similar style of manager to Tuchel, plays aggressive attacking football, and already knows the league.

I'd have him at Chelsea tbh, though he does have more of a connection to our club so that could be part of it.

Fair, I probably color Rodgers incorrectly simply because I honestly haven't followed him intently since departing Liverpool. Tuchel used to be higher on my list, but maybe I'm just disenchanted with everyone. Allegri is one that I'd be well and truly excited for but I don't believe that appointment is at all realistic.

After hearing some of the issues that were apparently present at Bayern, I do not think he'd be right for us. Lax training sessions were something that was mentioned, which is the exact opposite of what we need at this point.

It took a little bit longer to get a breakthrough than I had hoped but the real bonus was Auba deferring to Laca for the last penalty and his words after. If we're able to keep both of them happy, I like our future in attack. We just really need to shore up defensively now.

It pains me to say this, but I’ve been reading the attack was much better when Wilshere came off. Any truth to this?

Wilshere just isn't the quality player some people seem to wish he were. But Arsenal is coming along nicely after a little down period. Maybe Wenger knows better than those whiners over at ArsenalFanTV after all?

Lacazette probably playing the first 75 or so. Hopefully his penalty conversion will give him the run of confidence he needs to be clinical today. CSKA aren't here by accident, and while I think we should win, we still gotta show up. We have been lately, I just hope it continues.

Nice. What a great first half.

                        Laca subbed off at 74

Man this could be our get out of jail card and back into the UCL. We have to take our med sure--but if we could get back in, that would be fantastic.

This summer is going to be so interesting. We need a new manager, and we need to learn defense...

To clarify, a new manager is certainly more of a WANT than a NEED. I've said it before that I would certainly prefer a change of manager, but changes that NEED to happen are when you have Alan Pardew as your manager.

Ugh—has a scan upcoming, for sure out on Sunday, and no idea on how long he could be out. Hopefully, Iwobi takes this chance and steps up big time.
