I wish Walcott could stay healthy enough to play regularly because he's very very good. I really like Ramsey too. For a 19-year-old, he's very poised and could be a solid replacement for Cesc if/when he leaves. I obviously hope he doesn't, but you never know in football these days
I agree about Ramsey; while I don't ever want to see Cesc leaves, I'd cry a little less knowing we have Ramsey to possibly replace him.

As for the league as a whole, we're now in second, and if we count our game against Bolton coming up as a win, we're two behind Chelsea. This means, if we do what we should in the coming weeks, and beat Chelsea, we could be in first at the beginning of December.

I'm very pleased to see where we sit at this point in the season.

Is Cesc leaving a foregone conclusion? It seems like he's Barcelona's #1 target for this summer.

i think yea eventually. maybe not next summer, but i think its a forgone conclusion. i personally think it might not be until Xavi leaves. as good as csec is, not sure where he fits in with iniesta and xavi leading the middle... need yaya to control.

I also believe it is a foregone conclusion. Cesc loves Barca and has stated that he wants to play in Spain. I don't think he'll leave this upcoming off-season, but he will leave within the next 2-3 years. It also depends on whether Barca can offer the money Arsenal will be looking for to even sell Cesc.

Then again, I could wake up and Cesc declaring that he's Arsenal for life Either way, you can see Wenger is planning by signing guys like Ramsey. Although Ramsey is quite young, he could be a regular starter in the Premier League right now

Hasn't RVP said he wants to be Arsenal for life? Another reason to love him. Bear in mind, I've been an Arsenal fan for less than a week

                Yes, RVP has said that.

In other news, the press are linking us with Yaya Toure again. Haven't they realized that his brother doesn't play for us anymore, the rumors are even dumber than they were before? Guess not.

He will end up at City. Its just our luck that when the rumors of him leaving finally have some legs. We don't have his brother to lure him to Arsenal.

He won't be at Barcelona next year with Mascherano going there.

We already have Song, so Toure wouldn't be as needed. City can snatch him up if they wish.

It would be nice to have some cover. After Song we have no one at DM.

RVP tears ankle ligaments in Holland friendly and could miss up to three months.

Arsenal are facing a major setback after Robin van Persie sustained ankle ligament damage, according to reports in Holland

I have a sick feeling in my stomach. Why now?

I'm telling myself that we have the depth to get through it, because I really believe that we do. However, it will not be easy, and one we can not sustain anymore injuries.

Eduardo up front with Arshavin playing right behind him, perhaps?

It looked bad....FFS. I just hope someone can step up because RVP has been awesome so far. Eduardo and Vela (if he's healthy) need to step up. Bad loss though and this could really hurt our title aspirations

Man I thought our injury list was staggering but you guys just cannot keep your main guys healthy either. Huge blow for you guys as RVP has been a revelation this year with douchebag Adebayor out the door. He was thriving at CF. How long is Bentdner out for? Wenger will have Eduardo and Vela wrapped in cotton wool.

Christ, of course, of feakin' course, right after the ESPN article on RVP saying how he needs to stay healthy and blah blah blah, and now he's out for 3 months? Just our luck.
