y'all should be watching our Women's team btw. It's kind of unfair how good we've been lately. Vivianne Miedema is just an out of this world goalscorer, and we play the Wenger brand of beautiful attacking football. Kim Little scored a beautiful goal in today's game vs Reading, and if you watched the Women's World Cup, Danielle Donk is still dominating the midfield.

Oh yeah, ****'s free as hell too, just sign up at faplayer.thefa.com and you can watch Arsenal get Ws again.

      Match day, who’s pumped?!?!

      Not me.

Hoping today’s the day they turn it around. Admittedly not holding my breath..

I am. I'm still interested in seeing what Freddie does, and I'll also be able to get home from work to watch live.

Am I expecting to be thrilled? Not really, but still eager to watch them play again.

How many shots you reckon we muster/allow?

We outshot Norwich 16 -15 and were outshot by BHA 20-12.

Also odd when looking at numbers, 7 times offside vs BHA.

              I think we draw.

              1-1, we score first.

They've conceded fewer goals than expected—I think we can grab a goal. They're also more of a middle of the road pressing team, which can only help us at this point.

No idea, but for Brighton a lot of those shots were certainly not good goalscoring opportunities. It's one of the reasons the "shots" narrative is so weird to me. If Brighton had 45 shots and 3 on target, does that mean we would've performed worse than their 20 shots with 15 on target? On target shots mean a lot more, and actual chances mean more than shots on target. Leno had a number of shots on target that were easy saves. I know people don't like xG, but it shows the quality of shots that were given, even being outshot, we had a higher xG than Brighton. 2.36-1.91.

What I'm focused on is how we attack West Ham. West Ham had a low block against Chelsea, and really frustrated their attack. I would love to be a team that tries to move the ball quickly through the midfield, but I don't think we have it in us for this game. Also will be interested to see if Pellegrini plays Antonio up top again, as Antonio up top led to some Chelsea defensive lapses with his propensity to go out wide. All that said, Pellegrini could just decide that we are not a threat offensively, and attack from the off, putting the pressure on our defense to make the correct decisions. I personally hope this is a game where Pepe plays and Ozil does not. I'd like to see Pepe try and run in behind on the counter, while we invite West Ham to beat us. A risky strategy, but if we actually practiced this, I think we have some great personnel to pull it off.

Getting into xG has actually just made me a sadder Arsenal supporter because of games like that.

I have a feeling that Pepe starts. As for practicing, I keep coming back to this in my head—it suck show little time Freddie (or any manager) has on the training ground with this team. They had three full training sessions before the Brighton match—one of those was before the Norwich match.

So little time to make so many changes.

                    I really like this lineup.

Pepe starts, Chambers in the middle, and a start for Martinelli.

                    Let’s go!

I really don't like Ozil and Pepe sharing the pitch, but I'm ready to be proven wrong.

West Ham going with their Chelsea lineup, low block with Rice and Noble pressuring the middle of the park, Antonio drifiting right and left to switch with the other three attackers fluidly.

man, not getting a right back to backup Bellerin was really stupid.

I take it AMN has been poor?

Nah, it's not an indictment of AMN at all, outside of the fact that he is just not a right-back.
