So, super happy about Partey, but did Kola’s move not get done?!

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I read somewhere he didn’t want a pay cut.
However, we can still deal with other English teams for another week and a half or so.

Did Arsenal submit their list already? PL clubs have until Oct 20 to submit their 25-man squads.Comment

I'm sure both will feature in the Europa League group stages. I know there's been a lot of uncertainty regarding Mari's signing, especially that after making his move official we then bought another left-footed CB, but I still think he's going to be good depth.Comment

I think he still might be injured honestly.
Im still over the moon they pulled Partey off. I think it’s going to allow Ceballos and Xhaka to flourish.

The Ozil PR machine is at it again, offering to donate his wage to keep Gunnersaurus around, while he remains at the club. Masterclass in PR.Support Local Sports

The next window is about offloading players. My hope is that in January players such as Kola, Sokratis, and Mustafi can all be moved on, as long as we don't have serious injuries.
Then in the Summer Ozil's contract is up—I can't wait.Comment

So is he injured or just sort of milling around collecting a paycheck? Jose Enrique sort of did that towards the end of his time at Liverpool. But he also wasn’t a world class player ever and wasn’t on a huge contract.
Has to be one of the strangest disappearing acts by a top player I can remember. Just so weird how this has turned out.Comment

Three managers (Wenger, Emery, Arteta) have now all stopped using him at some point after giving him an opportunity. I don't believe in any kind of club stance that he's not to be used, or anything such as that. I think all three of those managers knew they could not trust him, see him not give a **** in training, and know that his presence in the squad would be showing that just because you're the highest paid player you can make it into the team without really caring.
To me, the biggest reason I've entered absolute "**** off" territory with him is that it's clear he doesn't want to play football. If he did, he'd be somewhere else right now.Comment

He’s 100 percent healthy. There are rumors of him having a 50k appearance/un-used substitute clause in his contract, so he’s either starting or not in the team.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I’m with Kreb. He hit lots of nails on their heads.
Most importantly, if he WANTED to play football, he would.
All he tweets about is how he loves the club, has a commitment to a contract, blah blah.
Also as stated, he’s been frozen out by FOUR managers now—so it’s not like just 1 bad manager/player relationship.
Freeing up those wages next summer will be monumentally helpful with our “rebuild”.
