Balogun is off to Leipzig on a free.

Romano is disputing this now, but apparently he has many offers.

He seemed destined to leave and it’s all down to playing time. I’m sure at this point he’ll take less to okay and develop in a top European league instead of being told to wait in the reserves.

Another English youngster who rightfully is telling a large English club what they think about not giving them a chance.

I don’t want to lose him, but I can’t blame him and I’m glad he’s basically telling the club how poorly they’ve handled it.

I know it might seem crazy, but hell, cash in on Lacazette (whatever you can get) and give Balogun minutes.

Or don’t, insist you’re building for the future while relying on age, and lose a promising player you didn’t have to lose.

I know it has been said that every team loses youth talent, etc, but this didn't have to happen, and you really can tell there is something about him. He has a presence when on the ball, the way he moves with and without it, and he's 19.

Should've been given more minutes long ago and signed a new deal before it ever got to this point.

I know some may not agree, but right now I'd rather see Eddie moved on for an English premium youth price and get Balogun any minutes that he would (if he would stay).

I can’t lie, after seeing AMN make a few mistakes or poor passes early, I don’t blame him, I just think well if the kid got a game now and then maybe he’d be more sharper...

Xhaka has actually started well. Keeping Zaha at bay so far.

                  As expected, Tierney is vital.

Mari's calf issue will see him miss a few matches, Tierney's is not bad and could feature on Monday, and Partey could start on Monday.

Shame about Mari. While Luiz provided something going forward yesterday, I feel like there were several times when Mari would've handled a clearance or a header better than him. But, maybe Gabriel returns Monday?

Ozil’s contract set to be terminated, allowing him to move on a free. That’s huge. Now that is how you clear out some wages. Never would’ve happened if he wasn’t excluded from the squad, I’m sure.

I think he gets a check cut or they pay him the remainder of the deal of a certain amount of time.

I have a feeling they’re not going to be paying nearly as much as if he stayed, though. I have a feeling that one, part of the deal is allowing him out of the contract so he can move now—that might mean a negotiation to not pay out the entire remaining contract.

Second, I think it’s believed there were many performance incentives, which Arsenal avoided paying due to not playing him previously, and of course going forward.
