Would like to not give up two goals at home, but it sure is nice to score multiple goals and have real threat going forward. Forgot what that's like.

I still think we need two more signings if we're going to be serious about finishing fourth, which should now be the realistic target (it wasn't last season).

We need depth in midfield, even with Viera looming, because at some point Partey could be unavailable and I'm sorry but Elneny is not enough. Second, I think we need another option up top, but perhaps someone that can also play wide.

Realistically, I think we make only one more signing, and maybe one in January—all depends on outgoings.

To be fair—we really only “gave up” one goal, and it was incredibly soft. (I realize it still counts as two..)

I don’t think another striker is a bad idea, however, whoever is brought in would come in knowing they’re 3rd fiddle. Probably best to look to youth for this IMO..

Marquinhos could play wide freeing Martinelli to play up top, if we were in a pinch.

Tielemens didn’t exactly do himself any favors today..Zinchenko also could slot into midfield if again, in a pinch.

My only “concern” so far is Arteta unchanging the 11, and waiting until LATE to make subs. This 11 is FLUID man, and very good. Does he not trust the “second team” enough? They likely will be RUSTY if/when they get some time..

In other news, thanks to the World Cup, no international breaks until end of Sept. Word.

Arsenal haven’t had someone that deadly up front since Van Persie. Jesus has been an incredible signing.

The whole Zinchenko can cover in midfield is great until Tierney goes down with his annual injury. Although, if he’s not playing every week, perhaps we can avoid that.

I would have to think he’s on some sort of minutes restriction.

Pepe out of the squad and possibly on his way out on loan. Please, please, please.

                Bring in a replacement, obviously.

                  William Saliba is 21.

                  That is all.

I'm genuinely excited for the EL draw tomorrow. I loved no European games last season as it was nice to not even care about midweek games for the most part. A nice mental break, basically.

I'm glad it's back after a year off and I hope we see some new opposition and I really hope we win the group, as that sends you directly into the round of 16, not the round of 32.

Here’s to hoping Pepe tears up Ligue 1 and even going into the final year of his contract a club on the continent spends at least…£15m on him.

Bring on Bodø and their frozen **** artificial pitch. I know, I know, ooooooo they beat Roma and have a great home record in the last several years. Yeah, well go look at the list—you'll only recognize a few of the clubs they've beaten.

                          **** 'em.

I feel very confident about winning that group.

Seeing Fofana go for £75m makes me even happier that we signed Saliba for £27m—now he just needs to sign a new contract.

Are you guys still pursuing Tielemans in this window, or waiting till his contract is up?
