I think Sterling would be a fantastic addition, but I wouldn't do that deal either. Sterling as AML, Ozil as AMC, and Alexis as AMR would be deadly. But we finally have good defensive depth. I wouldn't trust Wenger to adequately replace Gibbs, given how poor our defensive depth was at the beginning of the year (Monreal at CB, for example). And I'd want us to get a world class DM and GK before we even thought of adding an attacker.

I know we all were pissed Monreal was at CB, but I will say he became a much better player and much more positionally aware when he went back to LB. I would have never thought in a million years Monreal and Bellerin would be our first choice full backs but some good things came out of that injury crisis.

I don't think Sterling is a target realistically that's why Liverpool made such a silly offer that there was no way in hell we'd accept. More likely he goes to City than us.

If Aguero moves to Real Madrid, then I'm sure we'll be the first in the queue for Benzema. He plus Cech or Kaylor Navas (after De Gea goes to Madrid) plus Schinderlein puts us in the mix. Maybe we don't win it all next year, but we'll push Chelsea much harder than this year.
