Him giving the shush gesture as the team is getting showered with soda, beer, bottles and god knows what else is an iconic image.

Is CONCACAF ever going to deal with this crap? They do it every damn game. Someone’s going to get hurt pretty bad at some point. Hell, one bottle hit one of their own players directly in the head.

The game was an epitome of a CONCACAF ****show. The referee pointing to the spot all dramatic? Can’t make it up.

I think that game put the T&T disaster to bed.

I’d love to see a stadium ban imposed for a match.

I’d also love to not see Tim Ream out there again. Between McKenzie’s 1st half mistakes and Ream just getting beat for pace every time Antuna or Lainez had the ball.

I know I’m biased as an American, but I can’t remember the last game vs Mexico where I felt ok that Guardado and/or Herrera DIDNT get sent off.

Guardado had his hands on someone’s neck at the end when he got that yellow and they didn’t even show a replay lmao.

I know I’m biased as an American, but I can’t remember the last game vs Mexico where I felt ok that Guardado and/or Herrera DIDNT get sent off.



Guardado had his hands on someone’s neck at the end when he got that yellow and they didn’t even show a replay lmao.

Herrera absolutely should have been sent off last night. That tackle on Weah was arguably a straight red and he was already on a yellow (which was a pretty orange foul btw). He also went for McKennie’s neck with his hand.

In a way I have missed these CONCACAF refereeing clown fiestas. What a spectacle that was!

Since CONCACAF implemented their anti-discriminatory protocols, only the El Tri supporters have triggered them. Even Ochoa spoke directly to them after their victory against Costa Rica: https://www.frontrowsoccer.com/2021/...hurt-the-team/. At one point, he even mentioned if sanctioning bodies get serious, the team may be banned from tournaments, to include the World Cup. Felt like he kinda called out the governing bodies on that one lol. Also, the team (and supporters) is already under investigation from FIFA for the same chant used in March of this year.

For what it's worth, Weston McKennie has and continues to be one of my favorite players to watch. Football skills aside, the dude can jump out of the stadium and makes the best facial expressions throughout a game...especially during any stoppage time. His face when he almost got choked was priceless.

It’s McKinnie’s mentality for me. He only knows how to play all out. I thought he was a little sloppy at first with his passing but he was still covering ground defensively, nearly scoring on every corner, and right there in the thick of it all.

Good news on the Steffen injury front. It’s just a bone bruise instead of something more serious.
