I never agreed with his hiring in the first place, but firing him in the middle of qualifying isn’t the answer either (hiring Arena to replace Klinsmann proved that).

We’ve hitched our buggy to his wagon. For better or worse, we’ve got to ride it for the rest of this cycle.

US is playing with fire. El Salvador is doing a heck of a job defending.

EDIT: Adjustments are definitely warranted. They looked horrible in the first half.

EDIT 2: Imagine that…they go more direct and score a goal. Quit trying to walk it in guys!

Before the capacity restrictions (capacity is now reduced from 24k to 12k) came into effect, I looked at getting tickets via Stubhub since the game sold out instantly. I mean how often is the national team going to play a meaningful game in Hamilton? Cheapest ticket was $180. Too steep for me.

I didn't think we looked great last night against Honduras although we'll certainly take the three points. Since Davies is out Sunday, I think USA has a good chance at ending the unbeaten streak.
