Kinda worried about the Keepers, especially after the Olympic qualifying mess. Glad to see Zusi and Besler are left out, we need them back at SKC badly.

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Kinda funny though. He decides to leave Rangers so that he can try to revive his international career instead of rolling around the Scottish countryside. Now, he's effectively killing what's left of his international career by asking to be left off the squad so he can concentrate on finding a new club.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
He made 6 starts for Malaga and made 2 sub appearances. He's probably not going to return to Malaga this season and Sporting has him under contract for one more year. I really think he needs to think about coming to MLS and getting regular soccer and possible extending his international career.Last edited by jasontoddwhitt; 06-27-2013, 12:24 PM.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
I've seen interviews where he has stated DC United would always be a club he would be open to returning to. Probably wouldn't be bad for Bocanegra to come back either. Toronto has top allocation spot, but I think Chivas would be a great fit.Comment

I haven't seen him much, but last year against Seattle in the MLS Playoffs - it doesn't get much better than that in terms of keeper performance. Especially in the first leg where he single-handedly earned RSL a 0-0 draw in Seattle.Comment

I saw him on the bench on a couple of cut scenes. I must've missed him as I watching most matches on DVR with an always hungry 7 month old or in between the NBA finals. Can't wait to see if he's still got it with real PT after all the issues he's had the last couple of years.Originally posted by My Wife"The Celtics only won because they have a magical elf playing for their team...."Comment

Carlos Bocanegra has officially left Rangers after his contract was mutually terminated.
Defenders Dorin Goian and Carlos Bocanegra become free agents after leaving Rangers by mutual consent.
Defenders Dorin Goian and Carlos Bocanegra have become free agents after leaving Rangers by mutual consent.
Both players had a year left on their contracts but have agreed to terminate their deals.
Bocanegra spent last season on loan at Racing Santander while Goian was loaned to Spezia.
Rangers say Romanian Goian wants to find a new club in England while American Bocanegra is keen to play in his homeland.
The loan deals for the pair last season helped Rangers reduce their wage bill as the Ibrox club won the Scottish Third Division.
Former Fulham player Bocanegra, now 34, has won over 100 caps for USA and played in France before joining Rangers in 2011.
Goian, 32, came to Ibrox the same year having previously played in Italy and Romania. He has been capped 52 times.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Will be nice to have Boca back. He will definitely be a great locker room guy and help some younger players develop nicely. Girls are also in love with him so there will be increased viewership in that aspect lol. A lot of people really expected Klinsmann to be almost anti MLS in my opinion with his selections, but compared to Bradleys WC roster, JK has a much larger MLS contingent.Comment

I can't say I've watched a ton of U-20 soccer, but man this US/Ghana game is sloppy.Comment

Why did we call up Wondo and not Alan Gordon? Gordons overall game is way better than Wondos. Herculez Gomez is still questionable as well with the injury that forced him to be sent back. Hopefully Will Bruin has a good game tomorrow to come into camp strong.Comment
