    OH SH*T.

"Zelalem, who turned 17 in January, is believed to be in Washington with his father this weekend for naturalization purposes. By the time they return to London, both will likely be carrying U.S. passports."

I believe he got some minutes with the Arsenal senior squad this year, but he is not ready for international play.

I really thought Eddie Johnson has earned a spot on this roster...

Edu seems redundant...though I imagine JK likes his versatility.

Corona and Bedoya both seem to be on the fringe...though it seems they're frequently around when the team plays well. Johnson, too.

It's not a bad squad...if Jozy had a better year, that would make it seem a little better...but, ultimately, it is the GROUP vs Our Defense that makes the whole thing worrisome.
                            Australian Rules Football...just sayin'

Yeah, Gedion is a special talent But he is 3-4 years away from contributing at Arsenal. Our midfield is too deep right now for him to get anything but subs in Leage Cup games and don't be susprised if he gets sent on loan so he can develop. With Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlin, Wilshere and other players in their teens and early twenties, he gonna need time

If Zelalem declares US affiliation does it give him issues in getting a work permit to play for Arsenal? Currently, he's listed as German and therefore part of the EU, so no need for a permit. That seems like a pretty big reason not to play for USMNT any time soon.

As a Gooner and fan of the USMNT, Gedion aligning declaring for the Americans would be a dream scenario.
