It’s going to be interesting to see who starts vs Spurs on Tuesday. CHO was the best player on the pitch, even when Eden came on. He needs to be the first winger off the bench + getting spot starts. If he gets that I think he’ll re-up. Ampadu was really good too. He’s so much better as a middie. He’s not tall enough or strong enough to be a CB in this league right now.

Even Morata, who yeah had two missed sitters, looked better with actual early service which is something only Pedro will do.

I’m a little upset that we risked Ruben knowing he wasn’t fit. He’s much better than Barkley who I would have started on the right. He’s too safe as a midfielder.

With Cesc, Cahill, Moses, and maybe DD & Zappa leaving this window we’re going to need to a few bodies given ALL of these current injuries. I wish we could have convinced Cesc to stay until the end of the year. We’re going to miss his passing.

Sarri in the press conference just now said he now (implying his opinion has been recently changed) considers CHO to be on the same level as Pedro and Willian.

I refuse to let myself get excited until I see this in action, but if he starts vs Spurs I could see a scenario where the hype train at least exits the station.

I’m worried that his hammy isn’t a 100% but he’s going to push it because he wants minutes. We already played RLC when we didn’t have to and he wasn’t close to right and now his back is messed up even more.

A lot of good theories about how his crosses are going to be good for Morata since none of other wingers really whip balls in early.

Tbf with RLC it's a bit different because his back issues have been ongoing since he was on loan at Palace.

I agree though, hope CHO is fully fit.

Oh I know...I'm just saying you could tell he was suffering in the sub appearance he made vs Soto and then to march him back out there a few days later was a mistake if his back was feeling better.

I do think that if he goes, it is probably about more than just playing time.

As of right now, every indication is that we are going to fully integrate him into the starting 11. If he goes to Bayern then it's probably not quite as simple as we think it is.

Looks like reinforcements are coming in January with Gonzalo & Paredes.

Most likely a 6 month loan for Higuain with an option to buy which isn't as bad as the initial reports. I'll admit, I've always been a huge Pipito fan so I'm happy to see wear blue but yeah, it would have been nicer a few years ago. Apparently we're tying to get it done in time for Arsenal.

It will be interesting to see where Morata lands. Seems like Atletico wants him and we could even get a player or two back in return, namely Gelson or Kalinic.

Not sure I'd want either of those two.

If CHO leaves then we should be going all in on one of Lozano/Dembele/Malcom/Martial.

We also already have Giroud to do what Kalinic does (hold up play and basically that's it).
