Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
That's a much more impressive than beating Leicester IMO. Soto's form, especially their home record has been as good if not better than anyone else in the league and our defense shut them down.
Diego's quietly one of the most accurate finishers in Europe but I didn't know he had that in his repertoire. That was straight FIFA fully assisted L2.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't have mixed feelings about Bran getting back into the squad although he should fit in well with 3 at the back.
Hopefully Zouma's responds well after the U-23 action. Would love to not have to buy a CB in Jan.

Same KG.
I'm not in the "ship Bran off as soon as possible" crowd. He's done so much for our club and he clearly loves it. Yet another in a long line of mercenary players we have bought and turned into genuine Chelsea fans.
Would be great to keep him around as a backup/Podolski type role if he and the club are willing.Comment

Rare form for Chelsea in the last 5 in the league. Maximum points, 16 scored, 0 conceded.
I love it!Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
5 goals is a testament to how good we were going foreword BUT not conceding 1 shot on goal makes me very happy. Neither one of our CBs put a foot wrong today. Seriously, any one of us could have been in goal and came away with a clean sheet.
Damn you International break!

Yes, yes we are. Love this team and especially Conte. His passion is so addicting.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Obviously everyone is playing really well right now, and it's hard to pick out just one person to praise, but I'm going to anyway.
By all accounts, Dave was a high quality and very promising right back when we bought him. He played well as a right back in the beginning, then was asked to play on the left side instead. He proceeded to take a starting spot away from Ashley freaking Cole, and then became possibly the best defensive fullback in Europe. Then Conte comes in and says "you are a centerback now" and Dave keeps playing without missing a beat, and looks like he's been playing CB for years.
He never complains about anything, he is always one of the hardest workers, he has absolutely stunning levels of consistency, and has maintained a starting spot through 4 different managers.
I have all the time in the world for Dave. Honestly, I legitimately wouldn't trade him for any player.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
We're 3 points clear in the table and this place is as dead as if we were in the relegation zone again like last year. lol
I was really worried with Cesc entering this game because of the midfield battle which we ended up losing; he just can't cover box to box anymore. However, his passing and that pin point pass to Costa.
A battle with West Brom on Sunday up next.Comment

First game I've been nervous about this season. Already probably our second worse bogey team and now they have Pulis, also they are on some pretty excellent form at the moment.Comment
