If Cesc signs here, I really hope he plays CAM and Oscar moves to CM. I think Cesc would create more chances for Hazard and Costa, and I find Oscar to be more of a physical player than Cesc.

Also, I'm hoping Chelsea rains on United's parade and snatches Shaw from them.

It's going to be the other way around most likely, with Cesc sitting slightly deeper which is basically the role he played at Arsenal. Oscar will likely rotate with Willian depending on the game with Willian/Hazard/Salah/Shirley on the wings

I'm sad that Cesc didn't go back to Arsenal, but he'll be great with you guys. He's only 27 still and playing in a central position again will benefit him. You will have an awesome squad next season especially if Costa comes. Wowzers!

I might get a Cesc jersey because he's my all-time favorite player.

Being linked with every central-ish midfielder on planet earth at the moment, though I'd definitely be ok with Kroos or Pogba.

I do hope the Carvahlo rumors are bs because that would be a monstrous waste of money. 30mil for a rotation/bench player is silly, especially when Chalobah has almost the exact same play style, is homegrown/English, and most importantly already on the team.

Also I'm starting to wonder if Jose has a plan that doesn't involve Costa. Mainly just because we didn't wrap him up quickly along with Fabregas.

Exciting times ahead though I think.

I hope Mourinho cancels the Costa deal. I would personally much rather have Mandzukic or maybe even Dzeko if he's open to a move. Costa just seems like too much of a risk. I remember the last time we purchased a big-name Spanish striker. Also, Costa was absolutely dreadful at the WC. I say stick with Lukaku for now.

As for mid fielders, I would be open to Mou getting a holding midfielder. Pogba and Vidal seem the most keen to me, but I was reading an article yesterday about Pogba saying that Mourinho would have to fork out 60m for him. Perhaps we could include Ramires in the deal and cut the sum to 35-40m.

I've also heard a lot of stories of Alex Song going to Chelsea. That would be hilarious. I want that move to happen just so I could see the Arsenal fans' reactions! And personally I like him over Matic.

I hope he does have a plan that doesn't include Costa. Not because of Costa's attitude (which I like) or his lingering hammy injury but for the fact that he doesn't look technically good enough. IDK though, he was banging in goals before the injury hit so maybe it had a bigger affect on him than I thought.

If we added Pogba or Kroos we'd have the best MF in the league by far.

I'm curious to see where Atsu ends up on loan this year. He was the best attacking Chelsea player in the WC to date. I hope it's somewhere in the BPL.
Wherever he ends up he already looks much better than Victor Moses. I know Luiz isn't a Chelsea player anymore but it was cool seeing him console Willian after that PK miss yesterday. I'm also curious to see who our 4th CB will be. I thought it would be Kalas but he's already been loaned out. It's got to be either Zouma or Omeruo.

I think people over rate Zouma, Omeruo is much better than him.
