I've quickly fallen in love with Cesc. He's really exceeded my expectations.

There are rumors of a Cech-Varane swap. Make it happen, Mourinho. But seriously, what the hell are Madrid doing? Navas, Lopez, Casillas and now Cech? If we could get Varane out of it, by all means go right ahead..

You had low expectations for Cesc? He's already proven himself in the league before and has shown that he's very versatile. He sat deep at times spraying balls around ( a couple wayward but I think there were disconnects stemming from new players) and then dribbled past guys in the box like a young Torres.

I didn't have low expectations, he's just blown me away so far. He's easily been the best player in these friendlies IMO. If he keeps up his form, he very well may be the best midfielder in the EPL this year. I guess rotting the bench at Barca made me forget how good he really was.

Yeah Cesc has always been pure class and he is in his prime now. Only thing he lacks is speed but expect Chelsea to even more dangerous with him in the midfield.
