    Re: The Beautiful Game Thread

This one's my favorite, from the hilarious evilkagawa account:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Last season: Carrick, 34 game - 1 goal Kagawa, 20 game - 6 goal If you no enter tiger cave, you no catch tiger. <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23AskCarrick&amp;src=hash">#AskCarrick</a> WHY I NO PLAY?</p>&mdash; Evil Kagawa (@evilkagawa) <a href="https://twitter.com/evilkagawa/statuses/378156950716157953">September 12, 2013</a></blockquote>
    ******** async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

If you haven't checked out evilkagawa's twitter, please do. It's unbelievably funny.

If it was two different teams, I'd go. But I'll already be seeing Olympiacos in Chicago playing Liverpool, so I'll probably pass.

I wasn't aware Tim Wakefield played for Hamburg.

I watched ESPN FC last night. The panel were talking about how Real madrid have been dominating teams in the CL, scoring at will. Steve Nicol and Craig Burley both agreed that they won't keep up this high level of free scoring deeper into the tournament. Then Max Bretos said, 'So you think Real Madrid have climaxed too early?" Craig Burley nearly fell off the chair. I think his comment went over everyone else's head.
