Can't wait for 2015. These matches better be easy to find on TV.

Came out to Columbus to watch the Crew play FC Dallas tonight. Too bad there ended up being a huge storm and the game being played is in doubt, the World Cup has gotten me excited to watch more of this wonderful sport.

Edit: Well, they went ahead and canceled the match. Canceled, not postponed.

Apparently a fan was struck by lightning.

New soccer fan here. During this World Cup, I've decided that this sport is just as entertaining to me as the NFL, so I'm going to start following the MLS.

I was looking through the current teams to find one that I can start rooting for, but the closest team to me is the Houston Dynamo, which is three states away. I'm a fan of the Atlanta Falcons, so I was disappointed to find that Atlanta won't have a team until 2017. Should I just start rooting for the closest team to me or pick one elsewhere that I find interesting?

Does the MLS operate similar to the NFL in terms of broadcasting (NFL Sunday Ticket)? I wouldn't think that every game gets broadcasted on ESPN (being such a niche market), so surely there is some type of premium subscription?

Directv has MLS direct kick for $80 I think, and then fox soccer plus for EPL etc.. For $15 a month

Good road point for TFC playing over an hour down to 10 men. Big game Saturday at home against D.C. Might go if i can.

Something I didn't note... I went to the Timbers/Sporting KC game last Friday and it was awesome. Too bad we had a goal disallowed, didn't have a clean sheet, and lost. But it was a tremendous time.

Terrible call on the red card. I see it has been rescinded.

The last 30 minutes of LA-Portland tonight was some kind of entertainment.

It was good until that late Galaxy goal.

A yellow for taking a selfie during your goal celebration. That has to be a first.
