Minnesota had a lead for like 90 seconds and tied 2-2. Great success!

Real life? Yes. Ever? I've played too much FM for that to be true.

Was just thinking. When MN played Toronto in a friendly, Giovinco scored two goals right away then stopped trying. He might score 6 against us.

Watching Jonathan Osorio miss a golden chance or two every game by firing 20 feet over the net is a habit I'd like to break as a TFC fan. He's just infuriating.

That's more like it. 4-2 Minnesota. Actually looked like a competent team.

Rapids looked terrible in KC, and Tim Howard was really mad at Dom Dwyer.

Came back from 2-0 down at halftime at Houston to gain a 2-2 draw.

Starting to put together some competent performances. Next goal: Allow fewer than 2 goals in a match.

Also, Christian Ramirez is one of the best US strikers in the league, and Bruce Arena should probably be keeping an eye on him.

I thought bringing Ramirez with was a great touch by Minnesota United, and something that was a great PR move for their first MLS year. Figured he'd get a couple starts, couple sub appearances and then fade off after 1 or 2 years, and well, it turns out he's a better striker than even I had pegged him for, especially if he keeps banging them in and getting into position as well as he does.

He has scored tons of goals at literally every level he's been at, so I always thought he was one of maybe 2-3 from the NASL side that would make it. That number is down because I really think Ibarra is just what he is and there's not going to be much improvement there.

As is tradition, I talk him down, and Ibarra scores the only goal in a 1-0 win. A clean sheet! I saw it live with my own two eyes.

I was there, too! Going back this Saturday!

The clean sheet was encouraging, going into the game we hadn't gone an entire half all season workout conceding.

Back to back wins would be niiiice.
