How excited were Toronto fans about winning? Well, I don't know how tough it is to rip a seat out of the concrete but if you look closely it looks like a dude in the middle was waiving his seat after the goal.

Toronto is getting its first sports parade since 1993 on Monday, Dec. 11. It starts at 11:45 am from Maple Leaf Square.

Argos must feel small now lol. Sure, they've won multiple championships, and so have the Toronto Rock in the NLL, but none are in level of the top leagues.

So if those other leagues don't count, then TFC is the first major pro team from Toronto to win a championship since Jays off of Joe Carters home run! This almost ties longest drought in the citys history(93-17 was this one, 67-92 being the other drought).

For a city that has had real little to cheer for over the past 2 decades, this is great to see again. Hopefully their luck is finally turning around. Cubs broke their long drought last year, city of Cleveland broke their drought last year, and now city of Toronto breaks their drought this year.

Congrats to TFC on winning MLS Cup, it was much deserved after a fantastic season.

Okay, now onto the 2018 season! Haha. Expansion Draft today and many more key dates coming up soon.

Decide to watch the MLS Super Draft at work because it's a slow day.

This is the worst experience of my life, sports-wise.

So, who is the best player to ever come out of the MLS draft?

I ask because I often wonder what the point of it even is. Unless there's a huge depth of world class college talent that has to be distributed in a specific way for parity's sake.

              Dempsey. For value, Cameron.

It's widely discussed and known that the Superdraft is diminishing in importance, year by year, to the extent that many expect it ultimately to be phased out. Growth of Homegrown signings, improvement in overall level of play, and the increased role of allocation money (which implicitly is aimed at bringing in higher quality foreign players) are typically pointed to as the primary factors.

That said, draft still plays a role in filling out MLS rosters and, increasingly, USL rosters, too. It's just a more peripheral role now.

Minnesota's first pick from last year (#1 overall) had 8 goals and 3 assists in 27 appearances (15 starts). Not bad at all. There are usually a couple guys available towards the top of the draft that will be ready to contribute immediately. But yeah, mostly a roster filler.

Minnesota was wheeling and dealing today, but they need to come out and make some kind of splash signing at some point. You can't build a team with this draft.

Marvelle Wynn and Maurice Edu weren't bad, but still.

I think it's pretty fun that the Sounders drafted Alex Roldan (Christian's younger brother). Not sure how much of an impact he'll have, but at pick 22, getting a player who is:
                    1) Possibly an MLS player
                    2) Brother of someone on your team
                    3) A "local" (Seattle U) player who you are very familiar with

                    Is a good thing.

Now I'm looking at past SuperDrafts, lol

2002 had a nice 2-3-4 run of Taylor Twellman, Brad Davis, and Justin Mapp.

It was so cold in Colorado for the Colorado-TFC Champions League game on Tuesday, the beer lines froze. Could you imagine if that happened in Toronto? MLSE would have about 500 emergency personnel on standby with heaters to make sure they didn't lose that delicious beer revenue.

The temperature at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park was a frigid 3 degrees at kickoff Tuesday in a game between the Colorado Rapids and Toronto FC. The coldest MLS game on record was 19 degrees las…
