        And to no ones surprise, AVB adds his name to the list of BPL managers fired. So far AVB hasn't done enough to keep living off of his Porto glory. We rag on 'Arry, but he did more for Spurs than AVB did.

          Came on here to say this! I think it's a bit harsh myself, they're only 5 points off 4th place and I think they're unbeaten in Europe. 2 big defeats have just shone the light on them.

          Spurs should go for Pochettino, the Southampton manager or Laudrup from Swansea. Who else is available for a club of that stature? Considering it must be because they're aiming to win the title.

            Considering who they already had on their squad I thought those 2 purchases at the time & now made no sense. Spurs are loaded with holding mids & CAMs but paper thin at CB & LB. AVB's squad rotations have been pretty bad so far too.

                      Getting one single player acclimated to the epl from another league is a chore, and can take a full season or even longer.

                      AVB had 7 of those players.
