And I got excited just as if it were live. They should just do a 24 hour marathon of that match.

Does anyone know if you can only watch live games streaming on NBCsports or can you also watch games from a few days ago? Saturday morning is usually family time and I don't want to have to DVR all the games.

Just looking at the NBSSports schedule and their current programming. I don't think I will miss FoxSoccer all that much.

Looks like NBC is going to crush what Fox had been showing the last several years. The App is icing on the cake.

I was giddy while I was setting my DVR for the weekend.

All that sweet, sweet HD action.

I printed out the schedule, highlighted all the Liverpool games and hung it on my wall at work.

I am a loser, but the amount of soccer we will be seeing is crazy.

Is there an extra subscription needed to view the matches online/on-demand (replay)? Or do you just need to be a cable subscriber?

Nothing extra, if you have the channel as part of your cable package you're good to go!

Except for Time Warner. They just got the overflow channel, but they haven't negotiated use of the online stuff yet. It may happen during the season though.

My cable company Charter doesn't have the overflow or the online stuff. I'm not complaining though. Still 4 live matches this weekend plus the two-hour highlight show.

Also, they won't be showing a ticker during the matches. So no spoilers if you happen to miss the early game and want to go back and watch it on DVR.

Ahh Charter. Not looking forward to go back to school and deal with their shenanigans. But it beats paying extra for FSC.

No overflow here either on Dish.

I did, however, finally acquire NBC Sports Net, so that's a win.

I fed support the following sob story and got them to give me a discount:
"I want to be able to watch soccer. More specifically, the Premier League. I've been with Dish Network for a lot of years, I'm loyal to them, until now everything has been fine. Great, even. But with the Premier League moving to NBC Sports Network, I can't watch it anymore unless I upgrade, and that upgrade is just not in the budget. I don't want to have to go looking at other providers, but I want to be able to watch my soccer and will do what I have to do. Like I said, I'm loyal to Dish, so I'm giving you a chance. All I'm asking is to replace my current programming packages that I have right now with America's Top 250 so I can get NBC Sports Network, but still keep paying the same price I'm paying now. I can't afford more, I'm already at my threshold. And I'm giving the company I've liked for so long a chance to help me out before I go shopping around for other providers."

That's ****. I've hated them for a long time now. But it worked!

EDIT: BeIN in HD! Double win!

After further research, Charter does have Live Extra access for EPL now. Great news.
