    Re: Official Spurs Thread

What do you guys want to see for Thursday? Start the same players and build some chemistry or give some other guys a shot to start and see what they can do?

I would love to see Townsend and Sol start.

I'd definitely like to see Soldado given a chance again this year. Forget how much we spent on him, but it'd be nice to see him get rolling a bit, to get some return from that investment...

Spurs need to ditch Townsend, Lennon, and Kaboul. They are overrated and why they always seem to start regardless of manager is beyond me. Kaboul's injuries have hurt him. Townsend happened to have 1 good game and he's labelled the next big thing and Lennon is fast, but has no football IQ

Soldado scored in the 73rd minute to pull even against something called AEL Limassol. 1-1

Sounds like Lamela looked good after he was subbed in today. Assisted on both goals.

One of these things is not like the others.

Kaboul likely keeps getting chances because it wasn't long ago he was one of the best CBs in the league. If he can actually make a full recovery and stay fit he's a very top quality defender. He's technically the best CB they have if Pochettino can get him back to prime fitness.

Very happy to see the come from behind win yesterday. I love how Lamela came on and changed the whole attack, him and Sol look good together just like they did in the preseason.

Game is on CNBC tomorrow, FYI.

Went to record it and couldn't find it, had to google to find out where the game was going to be.

Pretty cool waking up to 4-0 score lol. Does NBCS show replays often?

We looked dominant today. Sure it was against QPR, but damn.

Lamela was brilliant on the 3rd goal, composure with his run, and then a great cross to Chadli.

Michael Dawson heading to Hull. Not sure on the fee yet.

I hope he does well for them, he'll be missed. Hull gets a good player to help them stay up, Spurs get money to sign some players. Everybody wins.

I saw also on Twitter (From Sky Sports) that Southampton put in a bid for Townsend. 12m pounds, IIRC.

Sad to see players leave but glad they will get to play. Also happy this clears up space for others to get some well deserved action.
