Looks to me like all 4 EPL teams should go through. This years "group of death" really not that death-y, to me.

You are under rating Roma if that group doesn't seem death-y to you, they are a very hard team to play against. City probably should still go through but I wouldn't say it's a lock.

People forget that up until a few years ago Arsenal pretty consistently got joke groups as well.

The way I see it, UEFA owes us at least a few of these to make up for Ovrebogate

Is it any surprise? City always gets a hard group. Last year was kind of an exception.

If they advanced further, their coefficient would rise faster. Until then, they shouldn't be surprised when they pull a tough group as a 3 or 2 seed.

Good point. I mean, honestly, if City can't beat teams like Bayern Munich, they don't really deserve a easy group anyways.

That's why nobody should feel sorry for them. When Chelsea broke into the Champions a League after Roman bought the team they had some truly mean groups too. Advance, and it's a moot point eventually. But I will say, with how much better Eastern European football is getting, its moving to the point where there are no true lay ups anymore.
