I haven't been keeping track of Spurs offseason/friendly results but Man United hasn't looked cohesive defensively this preseason IMO. You also have to wonder about Da Gea's state of mind right now.

That's a good start of the season match though.

The only one I can even find is the MLS All Star Game. Then they're playing Real Madrid tomorrow.

Slaven Bilic feared the striker could have been out until Christmas after he damaged his right knee and ankle during last week’s clash with Astra Giurgiu

Enner Valencia only out until around Christmas which is great news for West Ham. That injury looked career ending when I saw it.

Any early predictions from anybody? Mine will likely change when the transfer window slams shut Sept 1 but I'll do my early votes.

                  1)Chelsea
                  2)Man City
                  3)Arsenal
                  4)Man Utd
                  5)Liverpool

                  18)Leicester
                  19)Watford
                  20)Bournemouth

                    1) Arsenal 2) Man Citeh 3) Chelsea 4) Man United 5) Liverpool 6) Spurs

I just don't think Diego Costa is going to hold up to a full season. His hamstring is already giving him issues and Falcao is still a WIP. I have faith in Remy but he's also injury prone. Hopefully Jose rotates the squad more but that's going to require the fringe players to step up.

I think Arsenal has the depth, even w/o signing a ST to win the league. The only concern I have with them is the same as ever, injuries.

Wow you really think Chelsea is going to finish 3rd this year, even if Costa doesn't get fully fit this season you guys will still be dangerous and the defence will still be solid. Only team that I am unsure winning the title are Man City and Man. Utd, I just don't think their defences will be solid enough to contend in the long run.

No, I think we finish 3rd. Out of all the PL squads we def had the least amount of gaps to fill so I'm OK with our relatively quiet window but we're still thin at full-back and Diego's hamstring is going to be a lingering thing, especially since they opted out of off-season surgery. Remy's a more than capable scorer but Diego brings better hold-up play, his nasty demeanor, and much needed strength up top, especially now considering Drogba is gone.

I have the utmost faith in Jose to get results. I just want to see Hazard up his goal output and Oscar return to form.

I hear you, but I am not too sure about Arsenal finishing first this year (You believe more than me!), it could happen as this squad has the deepest depth I have seen in a long time at all positions even at Forward, I guess time will tell.
