Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
So who is Rafa going to take over for? Bilic of de Boer? Apparently hes made it clear hes open to another job in the league. That has to put extra pressure on Bilic, and I'm sure Palace would love to have him also.

West Ham host Huddersfield—maybe they get a point out of that at home and Bilic is safe for another week? I could also see them losing 0-3 and Bilic being sent packing.Comment

Would love to see Rafa at a club like Leicester tbh. A club that looks like it will actually spend money to improve itself and wants to achieve things.
Newcastle is a garbage job, but Palace and West Ham aren't much better.Comment

It's such a shame that Mike Ashley is such a bad owner. Newcastle has the support, stadium, and money to be a top 7 club. There's no excuse, other than Ashley, as to why they aren't right there battling with Everton.

Should be bigger tbh, they were a bigger club than Everton for most of the Premier League eraComment

Sacked after 4 games, even as a Chelsea fan that's embarrassing.
Hire a manager to re-shape your club and usher in a new era of possession-based attacking football to help change your identity, proceed to not spend any of the ludicrous amounts of money being in the Prem affords you and make zero effort to back said manager, then can him 4 games in and replace him with Hodgson.
Absolutely bonkers decision.Comment

That game should have ended 4-1 not 0-1.Comment

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
Absolutely. Most of the headlines say, "Hodgson to come and save their season".
Save their season? It's been FOUR games! They have 102 points to play for still!!!
Their best player, Wilfried Zaha hasn't played since the opening day, Mamadou Sakho isn't match fit yet, and arguably their best passer and dead ball specialist Yohan Cabaye has only started 1 match due to injury.
Give the guy a chance. Owners/Chairman are too quick to axe managers these days.Comment

LolCrystalPalace!
What an embarrassing decision by the board at Palace. They deserve to get relegated.
