To be fair, he had Palace playing some pretty great stuff.

Montella out at Milan—Gattuso put in charge. Also, Bosz the next manager to have his name pop up in here in terms of an exit? I really wanted him to do well at Dortmund.

Just quoting this for now—I'll bring it back again when he gets sacked from West Brom.

Everton went from definitely about to appoint Fonseca this morning to possibly about to appoint Big Sam soonish.

I'm almost tempted to be fine with a trip to the Championship if it means we'll stop hearing about Big Sam being the master of saving teams from relegation. But that's a pretty irrespnsible tradeoff, I suppose.

Honestly LVG probably would have been the perfect appointment.

Short term, and he can come in and clear out the crap and bring through whichever kids are talented enough to warrant it, set Everton up for future success and maybe a top 7 finish or two. THEN you guys would be in a much better position to be going after some of these CL-level managers.

Alas, that won't happen and you will probably get Big Sam instead.

They just need a steady hand. They're in such disarray that they need someone who knows the league. Someone without PL experience would take too long to adapt, and they need to turn it around now.

                    What a joke.

It's official. Dark horse top 4 run to fighting relegation with Big Sam in 4 months. Fantastic.

Is it weird that these managerial appointments (Moyes, Pardew, Moyes, Hodgson) actually make me less interested in the league as a whole?

Hodgson was easily the most disappointing of that bunch.

Big Sam and Pardew at least offer entertainment.

Pardew vs Hodgson right off the bat on Saturday. A 6 pointer for Pardew straight away against his former employers.

Peter Bosz has been sacked by Dortmund and replaced with Peter Stöger until the end of the season. It was certainly time—goodness.

Will be interesting to see what Stöger can do with a much more talented side than he ever had at Cologne.

Honestly have no idea how Bosz went this long, it was clear he needed to go several weeks ago.

Maybe there just wasn’t anyone available.
