AVB handed in his resignation to Marseille this morning, and now they've announced they've fired him—literally pulling the you can't quit, you're fired.

Supposedly all over the signing of Nitcham from Celtic.

Combine that with the fans nearly burned down their training ground and I would say it's been a hell of a week.

I wonder how many places he'll get a chance at. His record hasn't been very impressive at his first two managerial stops.

Maybe he'll do decent at Bouremouth, then get a shot with a young Arsenal team before being sacked. Sounds a little familiar.

I think his Montreal stop is better than people are giving him credit for, we won't get to see the fruits of his labor, but he seemed to be having a good effect on the players, even if the results weren't there.

Thierry Henry has left Club de Foot Montreal for personal reasons.

Can't say I blame him. Montreal will likely play most of the season -- if not all of the season -- in the United States. Who wants to live out of a suitcase all season, especially if you have kids?

I guess he is free to take the Bournemouth job if they still want him.

Seems like Wilder might be out at Sheffield United, mostly due to a disagreement with how transfers are to be handled. The club wants a DoF type position, but Wilder wants to retain complete control.

They have really pissed away a ton of money in the last 2 seasons. With very limited return for money.

Brewster - £23.5m (Thanks for that!)
                            Berge - £22m
                            McBurnie - £20m
                            Ramsdale - £18.5m

Wilder out in one of those rare cases where it seems like legitimate mutual consent of sorts.

                                Apparently Tottenham have sacked Jose.

Edit: This may be related to the Super League. We’ll see.
