Spurs rebuild is going to take 2-3 years minimum and that's if all the targets are hit in the windows and current key players stay. Getting someone in who is going to leave right away will do nothing.
I hadn't thought of Potter, but that would be interesting. If Brighton had a finisher, it's absurd how high they'd be up the table this season. He's gotten them playing insanely well.

Okay, no Potter at Spurs, it has been decided.

Actually, they can have Potter as long as Brighton agree to a deal that sends Bissouma to Arsenal.

No Potter has to bring White, Bissouma and Lamptey with him. That's the deal. Brighton can have Dier, Aurier and Winks in return...

        Mourinho to Rona.

Serie A is a good fit for him.

Can't keep the Special One down. Dude's set to take over at Roma. It felt like an inevitability that he was going to end up back in Italy at some point. Although so soon, and with a club with as many financial issues as Roma, I would not have guessed.

Apparently they have the right "culture" for him he was talking about a few days ago. Culture=a huge contract with a massive buyout clause.

But really, it makes sense. If he finishes outside of the top-four, I doubt he gets sacked. I assume he'll have more time and patience than he had at Spurs. Plus, I thihnk it was clear that he was done in England, and nowhere in Germany seemed like a good fit at all. It was always going to be Italy.

I was kinda hoping Jose would just go back to being on TV for a year. I like pundit Jose.

Good move for Jose. The English media was never going to let him be successful in England again. They will constantly make every issue about him until it amounts to a negative culture. Hopefully Italy is different with him.

Yeah...he’s as much to blame. He creates the negative culture, and his inevitable refusal to accept blame is on him. If his team wins, or scores a wonder goal, it’s due to him but if his team tumbles out of a competition it’s all on the terrible players.

He’s contributed heavily to making himself somewhat of a meme.

There’s no denying his past achievements, obviously, but I’m glad his gaslighting circus is once again outside of England.

I'm not saying Jose is innocent but every manager does things like that at times if they are around enough. We all know Jose has a huge ego but no other manager receives as much hate day 1 on the job as Jose.

I'm all for "fresh starts" for players and managers when they leave clubs.

I’d say he receives the hate because he’s the scorpion. We all know what’s going to happen at this point, it’s just a matter of when.

With Roy Hodgson's contract due to expire in a few weeks time, there is rumblings that Crystal Palace are interested in Frank Lampard.

Palace for a year or two then replacing whatever manager Chelsea just sacked that won them silverware.
