They were pretty damn woeful as well though. On the balance, Portugal "deserved" it by virtue of converting their what, 3rd attempt on goal the whole match? Either way, at least the final 3 minutes provided some excitement in a wholly dull affair.

Yep.

If anything, with better decision making in the final third, Portugal would have won that comfortably. The Croatia today was not the same Croatia that beat Spain.
