PS. Son has played well as a striker many times. Napoli has also proven that a 4-man attack with no out and out striker can be very effective, which is exactly how an attack with Son, Eriksen, Lamela and Lucas is.
I like the 4 man attack, I just prefer Lamela and Eriksen center with Son and Lucas on the outside.

Son is the only one of them with any striker-fibres.

Nice goal by BVB. Hit the post in the first minute as well.

Fiorentina beat Roma 2-0 at the Olimpico.

They've now won 6 league games in a row for the first time since 1960. Winning to honor Astori. RIP.

                    What a bummer that Atalanta/Inter, Milan/Napoli, and Lazio/Roma all finished 0-0.

I was a little more disappointed that Fiorentina didn't keep up their red hot form, and only managed a draw with SPAL

The German officials are giving the England officials a run for their money with the continued VAR circus. 7 minutes into half time after the players were all already in the locker rooms, the VAR official called them all back for a penalty. Mainz went on to win 2-0.

I read about that today. Why not just have the penalty before the start of the second half?

Or why even let the half end, let the players leave the field, before the VAR official was done looking at it? And why did it take him 7 minutes to make a decision?

That's what gets me too, an absolute maximum of two minutes should be taken, end of. If you can't make a ruling in two minutes, it stands.

Yeah Napoli was trying to turn the screw but Milan kept up their pretty solid home form.

Milik had a sitter in extra time that he fluffed big time.
