Leverkusen has been weird this season. They typically finish in the top four, like they did last season. They've been arguably the most disappointing team in the league this season, especially since according to xgoals, they haven't under-performed at all like Schalke or Augsberg.

I was wrong about Frankfurt. I thought they would take a step back, but instead they've taken a step forward.

I mean, Pique scores a lot.

Levante wasn’t good, but Barca were playing pretty poorly. That’s probably a 1 goal game without Messi.

Bayern had to fight to the death against a very well drilled Leipzig team. Really classy finish by Ribery.

Leipzig though, has the two of the best centerback prospects I've seen in a little while in Konate and Upemacano. Pace, power, good tacklers, read the game well and both 19/20. They are going to go for a ransom if/when Leipzig sell them. Shocker, they're both French too. Just a ridiculous amount of talent being produced in France right now.

Leipzig arguably has the best back 4 in the Bundesliga. Despite that, the offense has been inconsistent this season, the most painful one being the second game against Rosenburg. I think they really miss Keita in the middle.

And there’s Gerrard’s first Old Firm victory.

Celtic couldn’t do anything. They couldn’t keep the ball and struggled with Rangers press all game long.

Rangers are still struggling to find that killer instinct to get a second goal (which has cost them points this season), but their first victory over Celtic in a league game since 2012...I’ll take it.

These last few days in the Coppa Italia have been crazy.

Milan beat Napoli behind 2 goals for Piatek in his full debut. Napoli were generally much better but the two goals Piatek scored were really good goals. The kid might actually be the real deal. Great ball by Ricardo Rodriguez on the first goal.

Juve lose by 3 to Atalanta.

              Fiorentina puts 7 past Roma.

Lazio goes into the San Siro and beat Inter on penalties after Inter was awarded a questionable pk in stoppage time. It was a foul but it was hard to tell if it occurred inside the box.

Really good win for Leverkusen this weekend against Bayern. Down 0-1 at the half with Haevertz subbed off for injury they get an insane FK by Leon Bailey, and two tap-ins by Volland and Alario.

Bayern go 3rd, losing out on a chance to cut into Dortmund’s lead with them drawing.

Leverkusen go 7th and look much better under Bosz. Who would have thought that playing all your best players would actually lead to wins?????

Man I left to pick up my kids from daycare and it was 1-1. Turned it back on and saw that Pizarro header to make it 3-3....ugh

And then they get up-ended in the Pokal by 2nd Bundesliga side Heidenheim.

That's about par the course for Leverkusen this year.

Tyler Adams is great. He's definitely put a stake at the back of the Leipzig midfield so far.

Serie C’s bottom club Pro Piacenza faced ejection from the league if they had forfeited the match against Cuneo but rustled up the minimum seven players, all teenagers and lost 20-0

Pro Piacenza (Serie C club) fielded 7 teenagers in a match, and just those 7 teenagers. And lost 20-0. The article goes on to say that all staff walked away from their contracts because they haven't been paid since last August. And if the club forfeit another game they would have been kicked out of the league. Sounds to me like they are going to fold. FM challenge accepted!
